WHY EVEN BOTHER i would rather wait for a some thing thats actually made properly "thats why i bought a ps3". but it is a huge annoyance of me when companies release a crappy half devolved product. a great example of this would be the new Guitar hero 3 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guitar_Hero_III:_Legends_of_Rock) and its blue-tooth blunder. whilst this does p**s me off for many reasons it also raises many questions such as what will happen to the wii version and if they could get that to work why wont the ps3 version work... i see my self waiting for the "real wireless" version :mad:

All 3rd party controllers on PS3 use a dongle, I imagine Sony are being as protective of their wireless dohickies as MS was (ie, why GH2 wasnt wireless). The wiimote plugs into the WiiGuitar so its not a problem.

im lead to believe that rock band will be wireless although if the drum kit is not i do mind but i have read "Alex Rigopulos, co-founder of Harmonix, has revealed that the Xbox 360 retail packs of Rock Band will come with wired guitars, while the PS3 guitar peripherals will be wireless.
