From what I know... you can check up on people at all hours of the night and day on Xbox Live.

Maybe there is another way... but that's all I can think of.

Doesnt work for me... Im on a PC, a Wii, or a DS for the most part.... I can try to stay with PC, so Xfire handles it, but....

I'm sure nobody really cares, the playing isnt that important its just a lynchpin for getting donations going. Are any of your sponsors really going to say "give me back 4 dollars! you only played for 20 hours!"

You could always set up a web cam feed.

You could also tell potential donors that you intend to stream your experiance over the web cam. Might be a selling point to your donation pitch.

me and my friend and planning on making a youtube video where we check in every hour, just to say how were gettin on.

may even do an 'extra life - undercover' where its just me and my mate and the funny stuff we come out with.
