Whilst I welcome competition in the browser market, is anyone else concerned that google is dominating the internet? Is anyone concerned over privacy, what data google is collecting from the browser? They will probably start putting all their other apps plastered on the browser soon I bet.
And besides that, it's so damn slow! I am sticking to IE. Maybe Microsoft isn't that bad after all.

Slow? It's the fastest browser I've ever used.

Running IE7 and Chrome side by side, IE wins hands down for speed. Perhaps I'll try a reboot?

Reboot worked. It is pretty fast but google's domination of the internet is getting to be a concern.

They dominate the net because they are great at what they do. The offer fantastic services in just about everything they make. Email, maps, browser, search engines etc... If they keep up their standard they can rule the net for all I care.
