Hey fools, finally going to get a ps3 this Friday and was wondering if I could get some advice on games for it. I'm not a real big shooter fan (at least cookie cutter halo clones) so idk if Resistance/2 is going to be that big a deal to me although I might rent it.

I already have MGS4 and Eye of Judgment (30 bucks clearance) and I'm not really sure what else is worth buying until LBP comes out. I was a HUGE Crimson Skies fan on Xbox so I was thinking I might pick up Warhawk from the PSN and browse for arcade games.

Can any of you recommend any other exclusives?

Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank: Future Tools of Destruction would be my two recommendations for exclusives since you already have MGS4.

Personally I play both HALO & Resistance and find the two experiences to be completely different but if you're not a real big shooter fan you may want to rent first to limit any risk of being dissapointed.

Edit: Oh and Warhawk is great if you love online multiplayer, the community is strong and the game has alot of versatility to fit with different play styles.

I was goin to say Call of Duty 4 but you not into shootin so Uncharted is a must (its not just shootin is great action adventure) and Rachet n Clank would be a good plan.

Resistance, Resistance 2, Warhawk (must), Infamous, RAC, God of War 3 (if it EVER gets here).

Rent Heavenly Sword too, amazing game, just too short of a game to warrant a purchase. Still, its a must play game for all PS3 users

Warhawk you might want to rent, I was a bit let down by it.

Picked up my 80 gig yesterday. Kinda bummed I couldn't find the backwards compatible one but I guess I'll get over it. I got Warhawk and Pixel Junk Eden from the store & Otacon was cool enough to let me Download Fl0w (which is amazing btw), Piyotama, MK2, and Crash 3 from his dead account.

I have no friends though so everyone here feel free to add OMG_ITS_SNAPS. You can probably score some free kills off me while I'm trying to learn Warhawk haha.

Yeah I just bought it from the PSN, I do have a bluetooth headset (probably not the best) though and synced it with the PS3. I can't figure out how the hell to get it to work in Warhawk though.

Were you in a push to talk room, If you were you have to press L3 to talk(I Think), Also when your in game go into the xmb and go to the mic in audio device settings (Which is in accessory settings) and check the bars are moving when you speak...

Warhawk = Overrated. If you dont like it, dont feel bad. Its boring as hell to me for the most part.

I think I got it all straightened out. I had to do something in the XMB. But anyways I'm having a lot of fun with it so far. How are the expansion packs for it?
