Okay, so my driving game addiction has reached the point where it's finally time to buy a wheel (with force feedback). Ideally for all racing games but mostly for GT5P and the eventual GT5...
Does anyone have feedback or suggestions for a good wheel to purchase? I've heard that the Logitech GT wheel is good but hard to set up (can't use it in your lap)... Ideally I'd like to keep the purchase at 150 or below... Thanks for the suggestions!

Logitech has a bunch of them, go to their website, they have a load of info there, and I think they have some wheels under $150.
If you want, I can refer you to a friend who knows a lot of this stuff.

Yeah, Logitech is the way to go.
Here are all of their wheels here, with various bits and bobs of info as well as prices. However, most of them look to be suited to being clamped to a desk rather than held in your lap.

(To laugh your head off at the state of UK prices, change the "us" in the URL to "gb"...)
EDIT: The Driving Force Wireless (link (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/playstation_3/wheels/devices/4565&cl=us,en)) is designed to be held in your lap rather than clamped to a desk, although it doesn't have any pedals.

Ooh, the Driving Force Wireless may be making an appearance soon in the ol' living room... This will, unfortunately, eliminate any excuses I have when getting absolutely smoked online...
Thank you guys very much for the info!!!
