i signed up for extra life the other day and after a couple days of just being extremely pumped i kinda noticed that is a long time slot to fill so i was just wondering what you guys will be playing during the marathon?

Honestly, Im hoping to jump on the PC for several hours in a max player game of Sins of a Solar Empire... whatever else is very open to discussion.

I have Halo 3, Halo 2, Call of Duty 4, and Rainbow Six Vegas 2, and Guitar Hero 3 so thats 5-6 hours each.

I have sooo many games I haven't been able to finish...I'm going to do an assortment of the following:
Rockband 2
PGR4
Burnout Paradise
Full Auto
GTA San Andreas
Viva Pinata TIP
And some Xbox Live Arcade games tossed in for fun.

I plan on increasing my gamerscore BIG TIME!!

Yes and ROCKBAND 2 will be out by then! I've invited friends over to play and we'll have food going all day so people can hang out and help keep me going. Party party!!:grin:

Oh I have to put up something of my own lol. Luckily this is during Fall Break so Ill have plenty of time to plan. :D

Dead Space and Rise of the Argonauts are releasing on Oct. 14. I will probably try to plow through them. Also, I plan on busting out some of my older systems like the NES, SNES and Dreamcast.

I hope Mega Man 9 is out by October 18. It is set to release for WiiWare in Japan on Sept. 24.

yah i was thinking dead space, halo 3, cod4, rainbow six vegas 2, battlefeild bad company, and mass effect. they all have a great single player and of course most have some awesome multiplayer so my xbox 360 will be getting some good use

Probably some Tremulous, Counter Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2, and Boom Blox. Maybe some other games but those are the ones I'll be playing most. :thumbsup:

yah i was definitley thinking about picking up too human for the marathon looks like a pretty fun game and they keep hyping so much that it better be awesome

i can probably finish a seaon of manager mode during the marathon in fifa 09 probably play nhl 09 too

I'll be playing Halo (collecting skulls if anyone wants to help) on single player and online, CoD 4 if I can borrow a friend's, going through Gears on insane in co-op, playing Mass Effect (I'll probably get stuck somewhere and not beat it), and I may run through Zelda OoT and TP again. Somewhere in there I need to finish Braid, Mercs 2, and Castle Crashers if I haven't beaten them by then. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be out by then too, so if I have that I'll play it.

In order to get away with gaming for 24 hours with the wife, I will have to dedicate some of the playtime to family games like Rock Band 2, Lego Batman, and maybe some Scene It.. The rest of the time will probably be some Dead Space, Force Unleased, and some NHL 09.

I will be playing mass effect all the way and then I will probalbly pick up too human. I will also be on COD4, Halo3 and RSV2 multiplayer to break up the RPG's.

does anyone else ever get sick of people who just spend all their time mastering certain online games? for eg. halo 3 and the grenades, it seems like everytime i play a game some person always makes some expert throw and sticks me from too far away
