I think that I'd like to do something here on the forums, so every so often, I might drip in with a topic titled like this with a random question about what you guys think about something.

So what do we think about Panic At The disco?

Like Their new sound, Like their old sound. Like one but not the other? Hate both? Let everyone know what you think.

Hated the old album, like the new album. I hate all that "scene" crap.

Old album was... decent. Their new album is very different, though I think a few of the songs on it are ok. Overall, I rarely listen to their songs, plus I'm not a music fascist, like 95% of people who listen to music.

Music fascist?

Visit the Rock Band songs suggestion forums. It's just a bunch of music fascism in there. Bunch of people who think the music they like is obviously the best and hate on anything they don't like. So it means tons of emo and metal hate quite often, and arguments over Led Zeppelin and such. It's why I stopped visiting their forums.

Meh. They're OK. They sound exactly like 'Fall Out Boy'.

This is only what ive heard but I thought FOB Discovered Panic at the disco, Hence the similar sounding music

Well, considering there are so many bands copying FOB anymore, I've just taken them all, and thrown them in my mind's trash can. Like 'Forever The Sickest Kids'. Chicks at Warped Tour in Chicago went absolutely nuts over them (I think I saw one girl towards the front pull her shirt up :lipssealed: ), but I wanted to send suppressive fire on the stage and call in an airstrike.

Their first album sounded like Fall Out Boy (I hate them so much...) but the second is very different.

This is worse than an R.L. Stine book.

This is freaking worse than Panic at the Disco.

I hate pop. I really do. Thus why I hate P!atD and FoB. It's all about image and hardly any of the pop stars actually care about putting some creativity in the instruments. Look at Soulja Boy. 3 piano notes that a toddler could play. Terrible. Just terrible.

Only thing I've liked on the top 10 of iTunes was Viva la Vida and the Death Magnetic album.

However, their second album did start to turn away from pop, so I hope they produce some actual music later on.

I like one of the songs from the band's first CD (or the first CD that was popular). I think it was called "The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide is the Press Coverage." That song is awesome, but I haven't really heard many of their songs besides the singles.

A fever you cant sweat out is one of my favorite albums of all time. I liked how they mixed genres. I liked how their songs had different styles (for example: Time to dance sounds kinda technoish, and I Constanty Thank God for Esteban has kind of a latin/spanish feel to it). I havnt heard to much of their new stuff. I like that the lyrics are more positive, but I kinda liked their older style better.
