Ala Douche 10-10-2007, 12:20 AM wow, very cool... not that i really need a condom for my remotes, but it's a very nice gesture.
I am starting to wonder how much of this is simply to garner some publicity. I could understand the improved straps being handed out, but now to take it a step further nearly a year later sounds to me like someone starving for attention... I respect Nintendo a lot, but I think that they are stretching it with a move like this...
Ala Douche 10-10-2007, 02:04 PM i'd agree with you if they weren't on top as far as far as sales go with consoles.
They are on top, and will probably be there in terms of console numbers, but that has never really been a problem for Nintendo. Their consoles have always faired well, not always leading the generations, but none (aside from the Virtual Boy) have been failures. It's the software and support in the long run that has done them in over the past and is starting to haunt them now. Their holiday lineup is lackluster to say the least... aside from 2 games, there isn't much for Wii fans for the rest of the year...
Ganondorf 12-02-2007, 07:15 PM I got that, but it wont fit in th guitar hero 3 guitar or the zapper.
Why bother?

The plastic sleeves are to protect the controllers which are mainly set for people who tend to wave the controller a little too hard that they end up loosing it in the wall, or inside their TV. At least the controller will be better protected with that sleeve on. When the wii-mote is in the guitar or the zapper then clearly there isn't much concern for the wii-mote to fly to walls or TVs as much since they are locked down tight.
Sniper 12-05-2007, 06:50 PM i ordered 4 of those online and got them 25 days later. i have a feeling its mostly to protect your T.V. from getting a wii mote sized hole in it but i like it for the grip. i say get it any ways, its free and you only need your wii number (i think the number is on the bottom of the console).

you got lucky, I orderd mine the day I made this thread and 2 months later today I just got mine http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/9867/opr006ghvo0.png
Ploogle 12-06-2007, 06:54 PM Yeah, It took a while to get mine. I don't really care how long, all I know is that I got four, can't get any more, and that they look (and feel and are) like crap.
Chemical_Burn 12-12-2007, 02:41 PM Sorry ploog, I'm gonna have to disagree with you, I think the rubber surface improves not only the grip of the remote but it has a better feel to it. Not that I expect to find a genie after rubbing it a couple of hours from gameplay but it sure does feel more comfortable, only thing that dissapoints me is that there wasn't a peice for the nunchuk controller.
I really don't like them. They ruin the sleek Wiimote form.
Ala Douche 12-13-2007, 06:58 PM the sleek Wiimote form.
hahahahaha

It's called...*drumroll please*
Something like this. (http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Controller-Silicon-WiiMote-Nunchuk/dp/B000P0W0NK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1197590548&sr=8-2)
Not that exact color, but DANG do those things give it a good grip. Heck, they even come in some pretty cool designs. Triforce, anyone?
Chemical_Burn 12-19-2007, 07:01 PM Ive seen those at the store, I don't like the material they used for it which is why I don't have it. I was talking about the same stuff they used for the wii-mote for the chuck piece.
