just got done playing the demo... short level, but WOW. absolutely everything i could want from an FPS. looks like infinity ward might have actually gotten their act together! too bad we couldn't get something like this in WW2.

What do you mean Infinity Ward finally got their shit together? Every game they have made has been great (they didn't make the original console games or COD3).

I played the demo, and it felt like good ol' CoD action in a modern setting. If you liked the first two, you are gonna lose sleep all over again.

i meant it looks like they've actually taken the player into account with this one... i dont know if you played COD2 right after it came out, but it was like a step back from COD1... this one seems leaps and bounds ahead!!

I didn't get to this the other night, but intend on installing it this evening... how long was the demo level? It sounds like it is horrenously short...

But controls... damnit controls.. They've made console like... Why the hell new games on PC uses slightly modified console control schemes..

For example - you can not redifine Keys!
Shift is Sprint toggle! "C" is Crouch toggle! Why the hell they are toggles? "2" is Switching weapons. Damnit Why not use Mouse wheel for that - or even 1 for first weapon and 2 for second? WHY? Sane with button "5"... "4" Throws grenade! Why damnit not use "G" for that like other shooters?

And there plenty strange control related things... Damnit I want redefine controls is it so hard to do?

Graphics is good. But controls seem to be straight from console.

I have no doubt you will be able to customize the controls when the full game is released. Even if they are not, any gaming mouse or keyboard will do that for you if the game won't.

I have zero complaints, and I rarely get hyped over any FPS. The demo was awesome. It was painfully short...but the minute it was over all I could think was "Sweet mother can I not wait for this game to drop"!

you can customize the controls in the demo... it's tough, i know, but you have to go to the "controls" option on the main menu. it's hidden well, just under the "play demo" option in the same font, color, and size. did you know you can also change your game options and graphics? insane what they're doing with games these days. you can also make full use of the console, binding keys and doing whatever you want in there... it even records demos, but my game crashes whenever i try to view them.

really though, the level is short, but i wouldn't say horrendously short. it definitely gives you a good feel of what the game is going to be like, and that's really it's purpose. i would have much rather seen a MP demo for PC as that's what i'll mostly be playing, but this was a good pick me up before it comes out.

Ala Douche Lol! Actually it's hidden - why not put controls to the optins menu? :D But damnit - I hate crouch,sprint, etc switches... I'm not comfortable with it. But deno is fine. But I dunno if I will play the full game.. I'm not fan of MOH and COD series.. Gameplay is too... arcade (!?) for me.. Dunno.. We'll see.

i've always been a fan of the COD franchise... not so much the MOH one though. except COD3... i sometimes pretend that never existed.

Im downloading the UT3 beta right now soo i'll download this later =).
