It is about time. By the way, the Cubs suck in the postseason so why won't they choke again? Besides, you should watch realer sports like football or basketball. Even Nascar is more exciting then baseball.

I just bought the Rock Band 2 Wireless Guitar at that certain retail outlet.
After trading in 3 games, I got it for $35.
Compared to the wired RB guitar, it is night and Day.
Much better response from the strum bar!!

So far I really like this one. And to no longer be tethered to the 360 is great! :thumbsup:

It's not the people over at 1up's fault. The people who are running Ziff Davis are the ones everyone should be pointing the finger at. These guys undoubtedly suck at running ZD now. When you compare that work environment now compared to not even a year ago, it's night & day. We may only know common names that are leaving ZD but a good chunk of execs, producers for podcast, & people from various positions have left ZD. Patrick Norton & Roger Chang have left to go to revision 3. A rumor that Robert Henron will be leaving to revision 3 as well.

The DL.TV viewership has fell off dramatically. ZD's biggest blow though was them canceling the much anticipated Digital Life Expo. This was a huge deal to many as the East Coast gets virtually no big tech/game based expos. The West Coast gets way to many expos, lans, trade shows, etc. We cherish what little of that we get. Digital Life was the one all of us East Coast geeks look forward to. All hell broke lose on the Extreme Tech, Pc Magazine & 1up forums when Digital Life was canceled. Canceled due to " economic " reasons. In my opinion, that's just a PR way of spinning " our asses are broke as *&^* ". I even took a few shots at them. I give ZD a good 2 years before they disappear off the map completely.

Sucks that your stuff got soaked Lono. The good thing is you should be able to get most of that stuff replaced. I've dropped things in water a few times. I dropped my Treo 700W a year ago in the sink. Outside of the speaker getting messed up, the phone itself worked better lol. Hope it all turns out well.

I think, actually, the 1up podcasts stopped because their offices had a sprinkler malfunction and all their electronic equipment went to crap. They even have a video of Jeff Green doing an interview and then them going off.

And the 1up show usually takes breaks to gather fresh ideas...they call those "seasons". I laugh at them a lot for calling them seasons, but what're ya gonna do?

You guys know that you can't create the vocal track for Guitar Hero World Tour custom songs, right? You can only create the music. If you want to sing along you can, but the game doesn't support it for possible copyright/lyric conflicts.
