I'm pretty sure there was a work around to use a UK creditcard with the USA store, but I cant find anything on it. Anyone know how its done or if its still possible?

not completely sure about this but in theory it should work i may try it myself and let you know, ok here goes.

if you have a credit card like say amex, or master card a global type cerdit card it should not be a problem as they are designed to make purchases all over the world, although iam not sure if you can sign up to psn with a credit card you should be able to i mean i have signed up to paypal and ebay with just a credit card before the benifit is no bank details are required, and lets face it paypal and ebay are far more risky than the psn store right?

Yeah, the problem is though, that the CC billing address is UK not in USA so PSN wont let you use it.
