Ok I got the hellgate beta pass and its been like six days and still no invite. Whats up with that. Is the pre-order promise of beta playing just a joke, or will they deliver. What about others, how many people are having this problem.

Well, I know it took me 2 days to get accepted. I think they're just lazy, to be honest. It took a friend of mine 2 weeks. I think they just pick names out of a hat.

Well, the demo's out... so you can try that one now :)

Just wait for it to come out in a week. It'll be well worth the wait, believe me.

Well I've tried the demo for a bit.
Not 100% satisfied with the controls tbh...

Other than that it looks like it has a lot of potential.

Well, the controls are very similar to Diablo, just like it's supposed to be.

lol... Actually, they're nothing like Diablo.

Diablo was more point and click, with a view from a high angle.
And all you had to use was LMB, RMB and F1 through F8.

The controls for Hellgate are a bit more complicated than that.
Although a mouse with plenty of buttons does help a LOT.

Odd enough - though the beta is over, the server is still up and allowing me to log in along w a lot of other people. That's awesome. I get my fix with many different classes. Demo people are stuck w single player, few missions, and two classes. Not exactly the strongest of marketing tools. Beta should have just been open enrollment.
