Despite my anger with E3, I still have to admit, it's letting out some interesting info. Like this four page article about Assassins Creed (http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/802/802794p1.html).

A few of the main details I picked out:

Weapons are tied to the D-Pad

You can use the Switchblade in normal combat

Target system using the L-trigger, with auto-target changes after an attack

You can knife guards in the back

The guards re-act to noises and will investigate

Climbing is based around the R-trigger also

Leap of Faith indicated by pigeons

Eagles represent special places worth climbing too(possible achievements attached?)

Red flash on the meter means the guards are onto you while yellow means you've broken sight

No demo.

The no demo bit has me on edge. It was reported earlier this year that a demo was guaranteed. If they've gone back on that promise, me and the other Assassins Creed forum-ites may just have to have a revolt.

If anyone wants this can be converted to a general E3 discussion thread about new info coming out of it.

because this is a free runner game as well, jump from building to building, and it is in the old days you know you got freaking style haha, and to run away from some guards while on top of the city is just epic. but the game gets boring after a while, but now i am addicted to it agen after 4 months of not playing it haha

I liked it to a couple of weeks then I realized that it's just the same thing over and over again, and as for the story line, I don't understand it, would anyone more knowledgeable (I know I spelt the wrong  ) than me please enlighten me to why one minute I'm running around killing people, then I'm suddenly in some sort of a lab?

Eh... I simply do not agree. I found the combat to be fun without being overly difficult. There were multiple ways to take out enemies so you could choose how you went about it. The storyline was interesting... at least they rationalized why you had all of these strange HUD elements that wouldn't exist IRL. Plus it left room for additional installments. Basically I think I liked the game for all of the reasons you hated it >.<
