woah, overlord 2? how did i miss that announcement. im with you, though i wont pre-order it (most likely) i will wind up buying it. all i have to say is i hope theres more sandbox gameplay components in this one than in the last one.

Yes this is my first time hearing about this too but with the games coming out this year and next and how much i hated the demo off the first one I doubt I'll be getting it.

The first Overlord was cool for a couple days of playing and then I got bored with it. I loved tearing up the town and killing off people left and right and those little guys voices are sooo amusing. I might rent Overlord 2 and give it a try. It looks kind of interesting.

Try it some people love it and some people hate it I'm one of the people who hated it:thumbsup:!

This is one of my favs.... you really have to be into dark humor to even like it. I'm not sure when its coming out but it should be Q2 09 but that's just what I'm hoping for. I think it will be really good.... codemasters seems to do really well and they are def.on a roll.

SO some more news has been given about it. Rhianna Practchett is writing this one as well... she worked on Mirror's Edge and Viking:Battle for Asgard. Shes also working on 2 more Overlord games. One coming to the Wii (Overlord: Dark Legends) and DS (Overlord: Minions)

Enjoyed the first one very much, but got stuck/frustrated so I sold it. I may pick this up.

Yay! I loved overlord 1 and this looks even better.

So I found a few more things about the game. 1.) that the minions will be able to tear down buildings 2.) They will be able to use siege weapons and 3.) that the won't have good/evil vs evil evil but more of a lawful/evil vs chaotic/evil. So the rest of the nerds (like me) who played D&D will be happy to know that you actually get evil choices all around this time.

They also have the minions have names in this one. You can also resurrect a certain minion if you like it.

I really liked the 1st one, so I am sure I'll be picking this one up too. Hopefully it will be earlier in the year when nothing else is coming out so it will get a fair shot.

Same here, I just loved the first one, seeing the little minions running around with pupkins on there heads... lol and after having a beer peeing up the side of a building,, lol

yeah, i cant wait for that game... even the wife is excited about it (she loved watching me play the first one). This is one of my most anticipated games in a long long long time
