I was just thinking that although report post is excellent wouldn't it be nice if there was a report porn link that was

1) available from the title without actually viewing the thread

2) caused an instant pop up to all active mods so that it'd be erased faster

i don't see how i mean it'd only be for the porn one that did it... and it could have a few loops, like i click it, it give me a recaptia thingy,
then it makes me confirm it's porn, etc. but not too many or the purpose is defeated

well on most forums there is a word replacment tool

i dont look at the posts the spammer makes but if they are the same then you put their whole post into a word replacer

see that's one of the problems in order to report the post you have to actually see it, so for me to report the porn thread i had to go into it... see??

Remember that us moderators do actually have lives other then SG... We get rid of the links as quick as we can but we can't be round all the time due to jobs, work, college w/e.
& a hell no to the instant pop up, that would piss me off big time.

seriously guys... you can tell if a thread is porn before you click it every time (almost)... you don't HAVE to keep going into it every 5 minutes, you don't have to reply to it in the thread... if there's a porn or spam post and you don't want to see it, let someone else report it... seriously, there is no prize for who has the most reported posts. that's supposed to be a tool to help us out because as via said, we have jobs/school/whatever... don't get me wrong, we appreciate it when people report the posts, but if it bugs you, don't open it... plain and simple.

Thats what I was going to say you could be writing something for school/college and it would pop up.

And anyway it does be gone in a matter of minutes I can't remember ever seen one of those post and it not being gone like instantly!

All you have to do is right click the thread and select copy link location, then just go to whatever mod is online and send him the link and tell him whats in it then we can get rid of it quicker.
the titles make it obvious whats in the thread, so just do what I said above and you won't even have to open it to report it to us.
