OK, I know this is a dumb question, but whatever -
How do you get objects to stay afloat in Halo 3 forge? I know how to make it float, but when I touch it, it falls. (I don't want to use a gravlift either.)
Suggestions?

One thing is to put something on the ground, or have a second player hold an object, and then put the object you want on top of that, then delete the bottom object, I've had it work occasionally, but other times I haven't.

Having a second player hold the object under it is the easiest way, a good way to do it is using the teleporter node things, (obviously don't activate it though.) Have a second person hold the teleporter thing in the air and spawn the item in the teleporter node thing so its wedged in, then have him let go, then have the guy holding the teleporter let go too.
And Woolah, a floating object.

Also, while holding the item you wish to have floating press start and save the game then start the game/round again. This is probably best used when only using a small amount of items.

Basically, only immovable objects (i.e. almost everything on Heroic & Legendary map packs, and teleporters) can be floated permanently, anything else will fall when touched.

The teleporter method is probably the best. So items however do not float if weight is put on them.
