How do you make polls on the forums? I know there is a post a poll button on the bottom of the page, but how do you make the poll and add it to the thread?

If you look at the very top of your thread, there should be a bar that says

Thread Tools, Search This Thread, Rate Thread, Display Modes

You want to click on thread tools and then click add a poll on the dropdown menu.

Sorry, I just submitted the thread and realized it prompts you with the poll making tools.

But how do you close threads?

if you want a thread closed, most mods will catch it if they see duplicates. They will also respond to "CLOSE MY THREAD" posts within the thread.

there is just no real way for any of us non-mods to take care of it... other than harassing the mods

Well... I guess you could do that... but you would have to send them like 5 in a row, all saying the same thing

click report post on the thread you want closed, and under reason tell them you want it closed.
