Indeed I have, good sir.

I've read the first three Halo novels along with the fourth, Ghosts of Onyx. All were at least decent and engaging books.

I also perused the Mass Effect tie-in Mass Effect: Revelations. It was so delicious. It was like discovering Star Wars for the first time again, only many times better.

Read the StarCraft novels. They were pretty good, if a bit short for my tastes. The WarCraft and Diablo ones were crap though.

The Starcraft novels weren't bad. The first one was great -- basically a printed version of the SC story done War of the Worlds style.

guess we're in the same book club. I liked Ghost of Onyx more, mainly because it deals with the spartan 3 project, and the thinking of spartans as disposable weapons, just more engaging of a novel rather than Mass Effect, though the world seems much more impressive and I can easily see movies, tv shows and future games stemming from the central idea.

I've read the first three Halo books as well.

The first video game book I ever read was the Resident Evil books. Possibly the worst read I've ever had.

I have read the original three Halo novels and the old Mortal Kombat novel, and I thought that they were all good...

What's the reading order for the Halo books? I was going to buy the first one the other day, but couldn't remember which it was - 'Fall of Reach'?

1. Fall of Reach
2. The Flood
3. First Strike
... then the newer ones, but I have not read those yet...

the order is:
1. Fall of reach
2. the flood
3. First strike
4. Ghosts of onyx
and the newest one to come out on the 29th of the month, I think it is, Contact Harves.

Also I have read the mass effect book and enjoyed it and hope they make a sequel. Oh yeah I have also read a warhammer 40k book called the Ultramarine Omnibus which is actually 4 books in one. I would recommend it however I must warn that it gets violent, very violet.

I've read all 7 Resident Evil novels by S.D. Perry*, the Mass Effect book, and most of the first Star Wars: Republic Commando book.

*None of which were the novelizations of the shitty movies.
