View Full Version : How many times have you played the Mirrors Edge demo?
SirInkalot 10-31-2008, 07:28 AM I've played it exactly 20, not including the training  (wow, someone's going to fail their exams:lol:)
This game is a must-buy, it's so fluid and innovative; one of the more original games I've seen in a while. I think it ranks up among titles like Portal.
I think it's stupid that DICE made the time trial section unlockable only by a pre-order key, though. This reminds me of the BF:BC sniper rifle.
Shane86 10-31-2008, 07:31 AM Just once, kind of busy with other stuff at the moment ;)
Grantly 10-31-2008, 07:32 AM There's a Mirror's Edge demo? When the **** did that happen?

Yesterday for the PS3, today for Xbox.
(Living in the future FTW!)
Juiced Pirate 10-31-2008, 08:05 AM I am going to dl it tonight
CaseyCor 10-31-2008, 09:16 AM I can't wait to get home and play it!
Artemas 10-31-2008, 10:10 AM I just finished my first run on the PS3 and Im just in shock. I was not expecting this game to be my sort of thing but Im gonna have a tough choice between this and GoW2. Im going to play the demo a few more times later today and see if Im just "in shock" or if I actually like it.
BTW has the song for it been released to anyone's knowledge?
Nightkiller93 10-31-2008, 10:16 AM I've completed the tutorial and story once but i've spent 3-4 hours finding new paths and messing around with the little trick i found that's in the other Mirrors' Edge thread.
Infneon 10-31-2008, 10:50 AM I've played it through a couple of times now. I was unsure about it so was waiting for a demo before I stuck my pre-order down for it. After finishing the first run through I fired up my laptop and pre-ordered. Such a nice change of pace from everything else out at the moment, much like portal was last year
AlmightyEmperor 10-31-2008, 11:14 PM Zero
viatrophy 11-01-2008, 05:56 AM I've lost count to be honest, I love it.
LatinLegacy 11-01-2008, 06:24 AM None at all. There are better games out than to waste time playing a demo .

SpecJoe Magic 11-01-2008, 07:25 AM I've played it twice. I like it because it's unique and a nice change of pace. My only concern is that it might cause a little bit of motion sickness during extended play sessions.
bigsam656 11-01-2008, 09:04 AM I played it 3 times until I got bored.
AcesHigh4895 11-01-2008, 01:24 PM About 15. I've experimented turning Runner's Vision and the reticle on and off, found new paths, and reveled in the experience. This game is amazing.
IronAxe3k 11-01-2008, 08:21 PM 6 maybe...I was very suprised how much i enjoyed it.
Strategist 11-01-2008, 11:19 PM I need to download some new demos on my 360.
How do I get freebies through PSN?
SirInkalot 11-02-2008, 04:13 AM How do I get freebies through PSN?
Playstaion Store?
PenKaizen 11-02-2008, 08:34 AM About 3-4 times.
The game is right up my ally I love everything about it and it reminds me of being chased by Agents in the Matrix.
Inzader 11-02-2008, 10:40 AM Maybe 6 times.
I'm trying to do some speed Runs, my record was about 3 minutes or so.
PenKaizen 11-02-2008, 10:45 AM I really think multiplayer races should be included, bombing around roof tops and racing towards a goal would be awesome.
Cheese 11-02-2008, 10:56 AM Lol it'd be even more awesome if we could shove our multiplayer opponents off the buildings
AlmightyEmperor 11-02-2008, 08:19 PM I still haven't.
What am I missing?
games301 11-02-2008, 08:47 PM about 25-30 times
DigIt 11-02-2008, 09:07 PM Lots.
Inzader picked up the pre-order /time trial code, so we went to his house and i got him 10 seconds away from the world record!
SO YOUR WELCOME INZADER
SirInkalot 11-03-2008, 12:49 AM I've timed myself with my watch, and I can do the same bit in the time trial in 48 seconds (give or take a few seconds)
I can't wait for this game. I might get it instead of COD5, becasue I love speed-running games :D:D:D
