Benton 11-09-2008, 10:25 PM I've never had a desire to go deer hunting, but I occasionally go pheasant or turkey hunting with my dad. Other than that, I shoot a lot of trap. Masselli18 11-09-2008, 10:31 PM i've never done it, but i have a friend that always goes hunting up in michigan. Artemas 11-10-2008, 08:14 AM I hate to bring up more political stuff here but I wonder what will happen to rifle hunting when Obama takes office in January. I was at a local sportsman shop and, they're having a hard time keeping guns stocked. I wonder if bows will still be legal. Bloodlut 11-10-2008, 09:08 AM throwing stars just became illegal here i the UK..... and i don't hunt, but here in the UK there isn't much hunting to be had... CharliWag 11-12-2008, 04:58 PM Hunting is terribly cruel and a savage hobby. I have no problem with hunting for food but sport hunting is just sick. (Well unless the deers could back flip and I could use throwing stars.) Harlequin 11-12-2008, 05:18 PM Deer mostly, and the occasional rabbit or duck. I have no problem with hunting for food but sport hunting is just sick. (Well unless the deers could back flip and I could use throwing stars.) I can understand from some point of what your saying but keep in mind that only about half as many people hunt for food than sport hunters, and if people only hunted for food the populations of said animal what jump very high causeing mass over population which in turn would either require mass extermination because they would be a "pest' problem or worse diesease would emerge and slowly and and painfully kill even more. you are more than entitled to your opinion and I know i won't change it, I just want to give a general concept of why people do it. Most hunters or rather the ones who can call themselves hunters do have a heart and a speedy death with a minimum of pain to the animal is always a goal. Does the Goddess of hunting need such excuses? Artemas 11-12-2008, 07:08 PM Does the Goddess of hunting need such excuses? Lol sorry. I just noticed a slight typo in that that makes me look like a jackass too. Amazing the difference an "a" instead of an "o" can have. |
