Epic post Ala Douche! I was looking forward to checking out some pics of the zombie mode and these differently quenched my thirst!

it is.... addicting... to say the least. a few friends and i have begun going through co-op campaign and looking for all the death cards... the one on the first level is awesome... it makes it so whenever you shoot someone in the head, they explode. there's also one that makes it so you only have grenades that don't blow up and a knife... that one is hilarious.

I wasn't going to buy this game on its release day, but now I'm starting to have second thoughts... I already bought Gears 2 and Far Cry 2 the other day, which are great games. So now what?.. I enjoyed the hell out of COD4. Should I just buy this one too then? I am also looking forward to Tombraider Underworld.. Too much good stuff, too little time! :undecided:

One word....AWESOME :grin:. A call of duty game on its own would have been great but this just makes it amazing.

I still want Left 4 Dead, but I admit this does look pretty damn cool.

I love the zombie mode. It's really fun, and it gets intense when they start surrounding you.

Played Zombie mode for a couple hours last night and it was hella fun. you start to get a system down and the zombies start getting harder and harder to kill, and they start coming at you faster and faster. Also if you open the door that says 'help' on it there's a box in that room that has a random gun generator that has some really good guns. Unfortunately the random gun box seems like it was designed by the same people who created chesty from Fable 2 If you haven't played it or haven't done many of the bonus missions you might not have worked with chesty. It's a demonic treasure chest that tells you you're "chesty's best friend" then tries to kill you. Due to the random boxes less than helpful contributions (typically giving us garands) we nicknamed it garand. That said it was still one of the better sources for weapons. With 3 people we managed to hold the building for 11 rounds pretty consistently though I think we may have hit 12 on one. With 4 people we were getting higher like 17 or 18 but it was getting pretty nasty in those upper levels. This mode is deffinetly a LOT of fun and I'll be playing it until I get Left 4 Dead, and probably even after that.

The random box is your best friend, your absolutely BEST friend in Nazi Zombie mode. You can get some decent weapons for cheap (Half price BAR, 2/3 price thompson, Garand with Grenades) and it's your only way to access the weapons that will ensure your survival for the waves past 14; i.e. Ray gun (one hit kills till 24, large magazine, splash damage, fast reloads), or the LMG's that help mow down zombies when they start to overrun you. However, the FG42 isn't that great, it runs out of ammunition a bit too quickly.

Do you seriously have to play the entire campaign solo to unlock this? Because campaign is getting tedious.

you do have to do it solo to unlock it. but you just have to go through the campaign if you yourself wants to host the game. if you join someone else who is hosting it, then you can play it whenever.

my buddy recorded a video of one of the first times we played... it's all from his POV and it was before we found the wonders of the random case, but i was the last one alive so the end is him specing me while i'm getting overrun... pretty funny. (NSFW for language... by me. sorry. :()
