Well errm it seems kinda ironic that you need it for free when ummm one of the most common uses for virtual cd mounting tools in pc gaming is mounting downloaded .iso (correct me if I'm wrong just an assumption)
Anyway try Deamon Tools (not free but the full version is just a click away)
Or for free try alcohol 120% (or just download alcohol 52% for only cd mounting)
Hope this helps...

yeah... i downloaded the original Red alert LINK (http://sarcasticgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10056&highlight=red+alert)for free as a promotional thing, for Red alert 3. and i want to play them, so my options are burn to a disc or virtual CD it... which one is easier... hmmmm...

I'd give alcohol 52% a try quite easy and effective.

use deamon tools, as long as its a cd image, and your not needing all the extra stuff (which really is only used for hacked games) you will never want anything else
