I bet this is already a thread, but what is the worst game you've ever played for any console?
Mine is E.T. on the atari something. It was pointless. It was buggy. It took a guy only 12 hours to write. It was worse then a piece of crap in your meatloaf. It was that bad.

Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage was one of the biggest disappointments ever.

Gotta go with ploogle on this one. I actually own a CD-i with the Zelda games and I couldn't play them for more than 5 minutes because they are that awful. Worst abomination to the Nintendo franchise ever.

DBZ(i think it was the rpg type games) on the GBA... God, those were awful. Also dynasty warriors on PSP.

Orphen, a starting release for PS2. Noone ever heard of it, and thank god for that, any games where you have to kill a big octopus with nothing but a stick deserves to be buried for eternity.

when i was younger i went to my local hollywood video to rent a game with my mother. we were looking around and i could not decide what to get. this was the old days btw, were you payed 7$ for a week to rent, i was only getting one so i was trying to make a smart buy. i looked for what must have been 15 mins. my mother got frustrated and i knew the look in her eyes ment "hurry up or die".

i grabbed the first thing i saw. i was happy to have the chance to play something other then goldeneye and mario64 on my nintendo. i ran inside the house and slammed the game in the console.flipped the switch and sat down to enjoy

i spent the next week of in the hospital after jabbing the controller into my heart. yes i, without reading any reviews sadly, spent money to play that game. only to 5 years or so later hear others shared in my suffering.

whenever i rent or buy a bad game i totally forget it in order to reduce the trauma but a game my brother rented yesterday was avatar:burning earth holy fecal matter i love the cartoon but that game should be sent into space and exploded (in case your wondering it was really bad)

This is a game that's very old, but I just played it a few days ago for the first time: Mario's Time Machine, for the SNES. (Sequel to Mario is Missing!) The idea was good, teaching kids about history by making them play video games, the beginnings of the VSmile I'm sure, but the execution of the game was terrible. Glitchy, and I had to actually look up online how to begin the game. You start out in this museum with this crap on podiums, and then you're supposed to pick up a thing, read a story about it, then activate your time machine to the time and place to return the item to its original owner. (e.g. Newton's apple) Then you get to go surfing! WTF??!! anyways, bad game, and I don't care who knows it.

Worst Game? Some idiotic McDonalds game I got given as part of a meal promotion. That stupid Purple thing is the devil.

actually i have changed my mind. i remember the other day another game i have played after discussing this topic with my friends. it was a teddy bear game for MS dos. it was a platformer where you could croutch and jump but 10 seconds into the first level after crouching in a tunnel there would be a box in your way and the game would stop you going back like in the old mario games. i stopped playing after 2hours or so. [i was like 7 at the time] but it was reallly bad.

Not mentioning all the DOS-based and Atari/NES/other old systems games, I'd say Scrapland. I mean the game wasn't that bad at all - I just got stuck on one level and, despite the game being very easy, I couldn't finish it. Also, it could have been MUCH better if someone would beta-test it.

Also, I hate all the FIFA/NBA/NHL/Madden games. I just can't see a point in playing sport games; you could either go outside and play that sport in the real life or just get a decent shooter, RPG or whatever.

Dang, the sports games aren't that great, but they surely aren't the worst games out there. Nor is Scrapland, even though I must admit that was more like Crapland.
