What videogame do you think had good voice acting? what game had the worst? Metroid Prime 3 didn't have bad voice acting however they used the same voice for all the GSF troopers, but it wasn't one that would get on your nerves.
Oh and as a side question do you think the legend of zelda series should have voice acting? I do not count the horrors that were the Zelda games for the CD-i as zelda games.

For me, it's Bioshock by a landslide. Throughout most of the game I felt like I was in a Halloween haunted house. All that was missing was a chainsaw.

Bioshock was definitely pretty awesome in the audio department (as well as every other). As you say Garwalker, felt like a haunted house.

I enjoyed the voice acting in Overlord as well. "SHEEEPIES!". Seriously, I love that dude.

Some of the stuff in Halo 3 wasn't bad either. All of the short cut scenes with Cortana, and the Flood dude at the very end were pretty sweet.
I really love the deep echoed airy voice.

Devil May Cry 3, Zoids Battle Legends 'You! Go back to bed', Half Life 2, and Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, 3...

Half Life 2 series, and GTA: SA, the voice acting in that game made the characters feel so alive!

I'd go with Bioshock too. If theres one thing that game got right, its atmosphere.

FFXII and Half-Life 2 had some superb voice acting.

I'd say Bioshock, but I haven't actually played it at all yet.

Heavenly Sword has by far the most impressive voice acting I've ever seen in a video game. if you guys haven't had a chance to check that game out yet, check out some of the in-engine cut scenes on the interweb. They're stunning.

david hayter sucks balls? mgs series' voice acting made me laugh almost every time they spoke.. it was really really bad... not resident evil bad, but mgs is way down there.

For got about both Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, great voice acting...

Sure, there is a lot of other good voice acting nowadays but none of them gave me the shiver like Kain or Raziel did. Besides the good voice acting it was the astonishing quality of the ´literarily substance` that made my jaw drop more than once. These monologues and dialogues inside a action/adventure game felt/sounded like shakespeare in disneyland :)

Mass Effect looks like it might contend for best voice acting from the videos I've seen.
