I made this thread to really discuss making a Myspace for SarcasticGamer, but feel free to use it as w/e you want to do with Myspace.

I had the idea to make one a while back but Jeromy never really talked about it. I could run it, or whoever. It would help get new members and such. I was just wondering what everyone thought of my idea...

I've not got any problem with there being a sarcasticgamer.com forum. I'd probably add it as a friend.

Both of those links were circumstantial and don't have to be implemented into this myspace. I mean the main argument in both of them was, bad background, and music. The background could be very simple. Mines just black with white text (I think it's easier on the eyes) with a thin red line around the various sections. Music can be set to play only when you click on it, and the friends thing is supposed to be there, You want a lot of friends on it so sarcastic gamer could be more well-known. Even though it's been mentioned in some pretty big places.

You could make a user group in Facebook. That way anyone who has one can join and chat. If you don't know what i mean just go to Facebook and look at some of the groups they have. See how it is organized.

I am not sure what planet you are from, but when 190 million people enjoy myspace, and one or 2 doesn't, since when does that make it suck?

No, of course not. I like the general idea of MySpace, but there are some similar websites (like Facebook) which aren't "i wanna find a boyfriend" services (yet).

No, but if 5000 guys like him joined SG, it still wouldn't suck, but a random visitor would visit the site and say "oh crap, what a shitty website! the users are idiots!".

And that's why the music should be turned off by default. When I listen to some music from my computer and then visit somebody's MySpace, the music starts to play and it's just terribly annoying.

Yeah, but it's .0314579 seconds of my time that I don't want to waste. If I'd like to play the music on somebody's MySpace, I would just click 'play', which would take .0314579 seconds :P

I agree, but think about it.
1) he has a job
2) he already has to take care of SG
3) he has a family

he has quite a lot on his hands.
I could more or less be his right hand man (next to roth) and take care of the myspace for him.

And I just got a message today from him saying he was fine with it, as long as I keep it under his control.
I can't go all rambo and such, I have to get clearance for anything
which was my idea in the first place.
