I don't get how anyone could possibly qualify the God of war trailer to be anything better than "Meh"

I mean, remember when we first saw the colossus fight footage for God of war 2?

This one just basically showed Kratos jumping at a few monsters, something that probably will happen a lot in that game.

I've hit a difficulty spike though... I cruised through the first 20-25 races easily getting 1st on the 1st or 2nd try, now I'm really having to work for wins and am facing the fact I'm going to have to branch out to other vehicle types in order to win... different tracks and/or paths definitely favor different vehicles

I expected a more linear progression in difficulty and got more of an exponential progression... but, I kinda dig it because it really prompts you to try out different vehicle types instead of blowing through the whole game with whatever vehicle you start with. Changing vehicle types also gets you to check out different routes.

I just learned last night that I need to check out the time trials mode when I get stuck because you can download ghosts of really good drivers and race against them, seeing what routes they took because sometimes there are blind jumps I didn't even know where there until I accidentally made them, who knows what I'll find when I check out the time trial ghosts?!?!

Have you played Pure Rothbart? I prefer that over motorstorm.

I just purchased Motorstorm PR.... can't wait to throw it in my system tongiht.

Yeah, purely based on the demos, I'd prefer Pure but the Motorstorm PR game is MUCH better than the demo.

I'll probably pick up Pure down the road when it's cheaper... I see Midnight Club LA is $40 now at Target... decisions, decisions... :undecided:
