I'm just asking you (the knowledgable people of SG) what would be the best FREE online game? Im talking only about MMOG's of any kind. I found a sweet game called Warrock but the graphics of the game have been reduced deliberatly so that the average rig can handle the frame rates and stuff. Warrock is an FPS. Anyone else got any other games to top that off (remember it has to be free)?

Best free online fps i can think of is return to castle wolfenstein:enemy territory, Also 2moons is free at the moment because its in beta but thats a pretty decent mmorpg.:D

gunz online is definatly worth a look.best game and best graphics for a free game.

America's Army and Maplestory are good games.

I'm currently enjoying Kart Rider the most.

Ah yes, Maple Story...
In the beta, it rocked. Right now, there are just too many noobs begging for cash ( @@@@@@@@@@@mezzars pl0x!!!! ) and people screaming at you when you want to train ( CC!! ). *sigh*

Not to mention that there's a huge difference on older servers between players that use the cash shop and those that don't. This combined with the gold farmers in China, etc. really drives up the prices. The game's not much fun for me anymore because of it.

I played 9Dragons. It was a good game but after a while, but things get really repetitive. For instance stuff like quest and PvP stays the same...

Search around for a good server that you like with decent rates.

GunZ isn't the GREATEST game out there, but it's really good once you get the hang of it. I suggest a private server if you're starting - Free premium clothing so you can look fancy and stronger weapons.

It's pretty good but a lot of grinding.
The world is small on purpose, Users can find their way to places without running/flying long distances.

Scumrape, err, runescape, is horribad x 10.
Gaia is great for casual computer users.

Maple Story is an excellent recommendation. I haven't touched it in an extremely long time though. This was the Sig I made for it when I did play the game. My char is still active though. I just checked it :)

MMO, I would have said Space Cowboys, but the rep of the company that owns it now is terrible.

I have to reccommend Exteel. I used to play it religiously.

And if you want a few single player ones as well.... go to STEAM or www.telltalegames.com and download Sam & Max season 1 Episode 4: Abe Lincon must die! Easily my favorite of the season, and they made it the "shareware" episode!
