So they say all good things must come to an end. Or out with the old or in with the new. The PS2 and the XBOX are rapidly becoming obsolete so now I have to turn to either the PS3 or the 360. I came to this forum because the perspective of gaming seems interesting so which system should I get?

read through past articles, theres a lot of reasons to get either system.......... (small joke)

Get a 360... It's got a huge library of games, the holiday bundle comes with 2 games for free, and its got the largest online community... You wont regret it... It's like a necessity...

I already have the Wii but so far, the games are kinda disappointing. I'm anticipating for Brawl, Galaxy and Fire Emblem.

I wasn't too interested in the PS3 but I've played Ratchet and Clank and I became envious of it. But I'm not going to buy an expensive system for one game .<_<

So far, I've heard a lot of good things about the 360.

Unfortunatly, noone can truely say which console is the best.

The only think you can decide is what the best console for YOU is.
Look at your needs ( how much do you play, what do you want to play, what about online gaming, how much money are you willing to spend, how about the community, customer support,... ) and look at the advantages and disadvantages of each console.

If you want some good advice about the PS3, look at rothbart's rants. If you want some advice about the 360, just look at the comments made after a rant of rothbart ( j/k off course :p ).

obviosly im a 360 owner and their are a lot of great things about the PS3, im just kinda tired, so im not gonna name them. Really, which old console did you like the best?
if you liked the Xbox, get the new one. if you were a PS2 fan, get the PS3

The online has improved on PS3 and home is coming out, thouhg right now the 360 has better online and alot more games. Also are you just getting this for a gaming platform? Because remember Ps3 is a Blu-Ray player, that way you can play Blu-Ray movies (which are awesome).

At this point the small PS3 game library should hold you over till the release of all the newer games, like Metal Gear Solid 4, which is exclusive to PS3.

Oh and online is free, I loves me some free stuff.

Go with the 360 this year. PS3 will probably be a good buy next year.
