I know it’s that most wonderful day of the week - Friday - and there’s a tradition of, ahem, uninformed articles on Sarcastic Gamer but this was just too good not to post. If you needed any more proof of the Wii being (terrible pun coming up) fatally attractive, look no further than the news report I dug up on 1UP earlier.

If you didn’t watch the video (and why not? It’s practically the meat of this whole post!) then here’s the gist of it: a mother and her daughter were playing their newly-purchased Wii and, in the middle of a frenzied session of Wii Sports - if ‘frenzied’ is the right word to use - the dog leapt into the path of a soaring Wiimote and was killed instantly by the impact the controller made with its temple.

Fortunately a neighbour was able to revive the poor thing and it’s doing well. I’m waiting for PETA to come out and denounce Nintendo soon, for producing such an ‘anti-animal product’; they’ve been on a roll lately, what with their attacks on evil, tyrannical games like*Cooking Mama (http://sarcasticgamer.com/wp/index.php/2008/11/peta-pests-maul-mama-and-other-awesome-alliteration.html). If that doesn’t happen, at least you look forward to “dog murder” appearing on a site like this (http://www.wiidamage.com/) near you sometime in the near future. Arf!

well it's bound to happen playing Wii Bowling, now that I remember, I think I hit my friend's dog while playing Wii Bowling at his house but the dog was fine

omg! they says that the dog tried several times to jump up t the controller... damn those people are stupid. of that was the case they who'd have locked the poor dog out from the beginning of!
