Fresh off the passage and signing into law of U.S. Bill 119, the Freedom of Video Game Information Act or FVGIA, website Gamepoliiticko.com has uncovered the detailed warnings that will be placed on each and every video game released, regardless of date of release.

Needless to say, we’re a bit peeved at this latest development. Check out what the asshats in Washington have decided to slap on some of the best games out there right now.

The FVIGA will apparently install “game specific” warnings on every title.* These warnings will be generated by the new Depeartment of Video Game and Entertainment Labels for each and every game on the shelf.

Here’s just a few new labels that you’ll see.

On “Fight Night Round 3” they wrote, “Your thumbs may fall off after extended use.”

GTA IV “You will play this for hours until you realize that you’re doing the same thing over and over and eventually quit before finishing the game.”

Dead Space: “This game will scare the F**k out of you, but only if you’re a pansy.”

LittleBigPlanet: “If you close your eyes while playing and still enjoy the game, then you are a pedophile.”

Resistance 2: “Placing this disc into your Playstation 3 video game console will cause huge sucking sounds to emanate from the machine. Beware.”

Fallout 3: “Playing this game will cause you to forget who you’re family is for weeks at a time.”

Fable II: “This game masquerades as an RPG, when in reality it is a dress up, crappy mini-game, wedding simulator.”

Prince of Persia: “You can beat the game in 8 hours, but if you play on the hardest difficulty, also known as ‘Playing with your eyes shut’ you can extend playing time to 9 hours.”

Far Cry 2: “This game will make you hate driving.”

Too Human: “This game will make you collect stuff that you will never find.”

Mirror’s Edge: “This game will make you feel like a Super Ninja Girl.”

Good god, now the government is regulating everything.* I’ve got to say though, I wasn’t scared by Dead Space either…
