i would say mgs4 because it put the ps3 to its limit but for biggest counsel mover i would say lbp probably although the numbers dont support that fact

MGS4, definitely. Beautiful game, great gameplay. Only thing that plagued it was the LONG AS HELL UNINTERACTIVE CUT SCENES

MGS4, Wonderful ending to a wonder series.. (even if it might not be the last in the series)

Either MGS4 or LBP, it's close though. I'm not a huge Metal Gear Solid fan, but it was probably the best looking video game I have ever seen, and it definitely pushed the cell processor to it's limits, but LittleBigPlanet's just so damn fun. I'm a huge fan of map editors, though, so that's the main reason I'd pick LBP.

No actually I liked Resistance 2 more than MGS4. I picked MGS4 for a number of reasons
1. MGS4 has done a much better job of defining itself on the PS3 platform
2. MGS4 is done much more professionally
3. MGS4 had less things go wrong with it
4. I wanted to avoid assholes like you trying to pick a fight
Seriously how many times do you have to try to pick a fight and assume I agree with your opinion?

I never assumed you agreed with me, It is quite obvious you didn't think R2 sucked (You have made posts about how good it is, You are a known fan, etc)...

Also, What exactly went "wrong" with R2?

Also, What exactly went "wrong" with R2?

The things that went wrong with R2 (in my opinion were)
1. Crappy graphics and huge differences on how well the levels looked (chicago looked pretty sweet while Idaho Falls looked nearly PS2)
2. A failure for The Resistance series' awesom storyline to actually be in the main storyline instead of as a backstory found through intelligence documents and on the ARG sites (hopefully they'll finally do it in R3) and an Epic fail in character attatchment.
3. A devolution on the things that the series had right such as the weapon wheel, (fine maybe narrow it down to like a 4 spot weapon wheel but the Resistance series WAS NOT meant to be played with just 2 weapons at a time) facing tons of different types of enemies brought down to about 6 common ones and boss battles that were to simplistic, and no viechle battles despite the fact that The liberty defence towers would have made an epic level and were essential to the story line :sad::sad:
However on the flip side I fealt that R2 suceeded dramatically on the online front where I fealt that R1 failed misserably and that, along with a single player story which my biggest problem with was that it was a let down from what I was promised by Insomniac games (of course) and the real thing that made me think that it was going to be so amazing, several gaming magazines that I really respected saying that this was "bigger than Call of Duty better than Halo", "one big reason to own a PS3", and that "your expectations for Resistance 2 could never be to high". When you here that you truly expect an incredibly FPS with all the f***ing trimmings and all the stops pulled out! If it weren't for thier inaccurate bullshit I might have been alot less hyped for R2 and enjoyed it more.

They all seem good games but for me its LBP. And anyway who cares which is the best one it just means we got loads of good games that will last. MGS4 continues to show dominance in everyone's minds but im sticking with LBP.

MGS 4. None of the other games come even close. Yes, that includes LBP.

I'm going to have to say MGS4, I just don't see what the big deal is over Valkyria Chronicles.

What did you really think would happen if you started this thread?
Ofcourse MGS4 is going to win. Masses of people are huge fans of it and would rather stay with their beloved series than go with something truely innovative.Thats not to say MGS4 wasnt a ground breaking game because it was but i think somethings were better at least in some areas

you probably have to get further than what the demo will let you do to really begin enjoying the game.

I agree with you there. As far as MGS4 was concerned, personally, I was not that impressed. I got bored after Chapter 3 and gameplay was nothing new. But Valkyria Chronicles was a unique and enjoyable gaming experience for me, which is why it gets my vote.

LBP any day

I like the creative aspect. It;s like a kiddy-looking, but good PS Home, with fantastic stuff in it

well said LBP is something very new, exciting and special and a kind of innovating game that is rarely seen.

VC gets my second vote because that has worked for and deserves a comment at least. I consider MGS4 maybe 3rd,4th or 5th best exclusive. The under dogs rule here.

exactly the same for me... i think i got to where liquid snake does something to the soldiers and them and solid snake fall down and they see each other... i don't really remember, i just remember that was the point where i decided to stop forcing myself to keep playing.

I say Metal Gear Solid and Little Big Planet. Those are both some must have games in my book.

For me it's a tight contest between Metal Gear Solid, Little Big Planet and Valkyria Chronicles. Unfortunately VC just doesn't quite make it leaving my decision between MGS and LBP.

In the end though, MGS just took it. Although I've put more gaming hours into LBP, MGS was a totally new experience which really felt like a next generation game. Yes it has issues with cutscenes (I'm a huge jRPG fan and so when I'M complaining about cutscene length you know something is wrong) and the generally overcomplicated story but overall it just blew me away.

i loved MGS4 and LBP but valkyria really was amazing. i'm a huge fan of MGS and LBP was awesome but valkyria was like wow…

MGS coulda had better cut scenes but understandable with new players, LBP is awesome but like Valkyria is better.

I'm just really glad to see that I'm not the only person who gave up on MGS4 after slogging through a couple of chapters. I sat up one night determined to give it another crack, spent frikkin ages on it, mostly because of cutscenes, a boss fight and a setpiece, and then AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHH, it hadn't saved properly and all I had done was gone.

Goodbye Snake, hello Sackboy.

It was a tie between LBP and MGS4 for me but I voted for MGS4 because that's what I wanted mostly on the system and little big planet was more of well a sandbox for me but that's what's the good thing about it is.

Wow, I thought I would be the only person voting for Valkyria Chronicles. I'm not completely sure what it was about that game that endeared itself to me so well, but if I had to hazard a guess it's the presentation. It was like a fairytale storybook, the brushstroke graphics were beautiful.

Ride of the Valkyrias!

LBP is fun!

But only with others :D

I found playing it alone was quite uh boring but still a fun game.

Mgs4 was just wow and it has to be the best PS3 Exclusive imo :)

I chose MSG4 because of the quality of the game. I was going to go for WipeOut HD but it go too hard to quickly and I'm stuck halfway. One race I'm fying past everyone in first place and then suddenly in the next race I was 10 second behind everyone else. (maybe I just suck...lol...but it still ruined it for me)
