TKPeanut 11-08-2007, 02:11 PM Do you agree with the rating of Super Mario Galaxy?
I don't do. Gametrailers gave it:
Story: 7,5
Design: 9,5
Gameplay: 10
Presentation: 9,8
Overall: 9,8
Maybe the Gameplay got a bit to much. Cos 10 means perfect. And I don't think any gameplay will get perfect.
Probably my opinion will change if I get a hand on it ^^

Game play is easily a 10, if not an 11.
And no the story doesn't deserve any higher than an 8, because frankly there isn't much of a story. Which isn't a big deal because nobody ever cares about the story with platformers.

The Story is lucky to get the score it got... So boring...
The gameplay getting a 10 is fine though... It is that great...

Bauer22 11-10-2007, 09:30 PM Oh I would agree with this rating. I expect nothing less from Mario. Its what makes Nintendo Nintendo! Now the storyline isn't good (Princess get Kidnapped, Mario Jumps, Princess gets saved) but when I think Mario, I thing great controls and great gameplay. Now the only way they could screw up Mario is if they put him on a island and gave him a water gun and told "clean everything up".

Super Mario Bros. 2 = Mario Sunshine
Adds some twists to the gameplay, that make it different for sure, but fun in its own way.
Super Mario Bros. 3 = Mario Galaxy
Take everything that made the others so great, crank it up to 11 and just behold the awesomeness.
