I get home i have all 3 next gen and when i sit down from a long day i look at my wii mote and go why. its not because of the graphics thats not a big point for me. ill still sit down with a nes or my snes. but when i look at that mote it just puts me off i dont want to faille my arms around like a monkey on speed and crack to play a game and i just feel stupid doing that alone. and i can only do that for a little wile before i punch my self out. in the end ill reach for my xbox controller and pop in a game and slide on the couch and be at peace as i rip some ones head off with a chain-saw. now am i just lazy because just the fact the the wii mote puts me off? are there other people like me out there? do you look at your wii "no not that wii the one on your tv" and go what was i thinking?

It's all good. Just try to be conscious of your spelling and grammar. It's something that we promote highly around here, because it makes for more easily understood and better discussions. Regulars on these forums, like Ala Douche, have gotten used to it and he was just giving you hard time cuz you're new. Don't take it too seriously.

but i want to get back on track here for a sec. i got my wii. It was the first next gen i got and i was looking forward to it. now there is only 3 games upcoming that i am rely looking forward to. but thats it. would you out there keep a system just for that. is the controller worth it for the wii.

you can't really say a game doesn't have lag... all games have lag. it depends on your ISP, for instance, i have Clearwire. i want to murder them. i want their execs to be stoned in the middle of the street. :)

I think my biggest problem is that I dont have much time to game. I work allot. and I rent allot of wii games because i feel if i dont I wasted the money buying the Wii. and the games for the xbox calls me more. If I had more friends in buffalo Id brake it out but I dont get along with allot of ppl here "ghetto". and im rely rely tiered when i want to game. I do want to try games like manhunt and meteoroid prime but in the end i just think ill wait 4 months till i can get them cheep used. im not a mario fan boy there games are ok and i do have my pre order for Mario Galaxy. another thing about the will for me is holding a real controller is more at ease with me. now dont think im an xbox fan boy. The reason it looks kiddy is because it is cel shaded graphics like...uhh wtf how do I forget the name of that game. Anyway it has the style of that Zelda game on Gamecube (WINDWAKER). Its a fun point and click game last gives you at the least 15 hours, depending on how smart you are.

Oh and Ala, Medal of Honor Heroes 2 doesnt lag if you have a good connection. Some games like Madden 08 lag no matter what your connection, unless they have fixed that by now.

I think it's just because most nintendo games are hard to get into.

Without any games and with nintendo annoucing crappy new things that no one wants the wii sucks but with a few quite good games coming out in the not so distant future the wii looks set to dominate, well at least at christmas when you have several million families buying it just to play wii sports.

like i said if the will goes in to point and click games I think they can bring that back and have allot of adventure games and games like Diablo they would be a real contender for next gen. And yes I am one of those that dont think graphics should be the main thing to determine a gen of Conceals

I kinda agree with you. i got a wii as a gift and i bought metroid prime 3 corruption, a fun game but my brother is farther than me because i just sorta lose intrest and i dont even wanna start playing, i almost enjoy TV more than wii...

I don't have much time to play the Wii now. Any time I have is spent on one of my computer projects (i.e. Software and Flash Animations) or on a forum site. Combine that with the fact that I have college and high school classes, as well as a wednesday night activity...ya. No time.

Another thing is few games. My most recent one was the Pokemon Revolution. Blargh. Do NOT get that. Even if you're a hard-core Pokemon fan, you'll HATE it. Especially don't get it if you don't have a DS or the DS Pokemon game (Diamond or Pearl). The game is basically a port for repetetive battles from your DS. SUCKS.

I'm waiting for Brawl. And Spore. And a few other games that are already out. I'm a fairly casual gamer, and as such mostly enjoy casual games, but I also like hard-core games.

Im waiting for the point to go yes this is why i bout this. this is worth the hype. this is worth the wait. and i just dont see it. the games people are pointing out to me have mario in it and there cute but there not epic. I want that epic game like golden eye was for the 64. or they just release a sniky lode of games that are interesting will last me a wile and that dont have a plumber in it then it will be worth the money. but until then it sits there with dust on it.

thats why i said point and click games the wii is almost made for games like that. can you imagine a monkey island on it or a full throttle, zork, tex murphy, or any adventure game. I think we should all contact nintendo to tell them to get on that the gamers have spoken.

I've always looked at the Wii as my secondary gaming machine. It offers me unique experiences that I can't get anywhere else (Metroid Prime 3, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, etc.) as well as fun party games to play with friends. I knew when I bought it that it would likely sit idle for periods of time while I continue to play my Xbox 360 on a regular basis. I really like what is available on the Wii and look forward to what is to come, but I do understand your feelings about the system.
