I believe Doc posted a statistic saying about only 13% of PS3 owners actually use their blu-ray functionality. so for 87% it's not necessary.

I don't remember the Gamecube beating the PS2 but I wasn't as in to gaming then as I am now so I could be wrong...

Wow they've got everything but the games? Isn't that what you buy a console for? To play games? Sure it's getting filled a bit with games like Uncharted, MGS 4(Which could come to 360.), Heavenly Sword, and Lair but for every one of those games I could probably give you two xbox 360 exclusives.

Good God it's a parody song, the beta test bit was just implying that the PS3 wasn't tested to see if it would actually do well. Well on a $500 minimum console (at the time of the song being written) it should of been there in the beginning, it's just pitiful.

So far I haven't heard anything negative about Halo 3 and the beta ended a while ago... You're hoping that Halo 3 does badly so you can laugh at the 360 users? That's just a dickish thing to do.

Neither of the current gen consoles are going to fail.
It's just a matter of time and each will have their proper market share.

No need to bash eachother.

I think the smartest thing MS did was NOT ship the 360 with a next gen DVD player. If Bluray loses the PS3 might be in a bit more trouble then it already is.

I don't own a 360, I own a Wii. However I'm even at the point of admitting that the 360 is the best console. Lets look at the 3:

The Wii:
Laughable online features. A news channel which makes no sense as I can just watch the news. A weather channel that has old weather on it. A internet channel that again makes no sense as who the hell wants to surf the web using a tv. In games online access where you you can trade scores or send a level to someone. Until I can actually play other people online and in real time... The Wii online abilities suck.

A pointless SD card.
No HD capabilities.
Acting like having the ability to buy old emulated games is a big deal.
The total lack of decent games outside of gamecube/ps2 ports.
Every game having minigames.

The PS3:
No decent games. (not going to say price, because the 360 is about the same price).

The 360:
Ton of games.
Online gaming that rocks and is easy to use.
Bomberman Online. :)

I think we need to have a parody-off (not really a dance-off or a sing-off). I think both parties should write new parodies (actually recording them shouldn't be an absolute requirement but it should count in the scoring). Pick your own topic... hell, you could even write a song parody ripping on SarcasticGamer and their fanboy-ish (depending on which song/s you choose) ways. Now that would be cool. Recursive parodies FTW!

That isn't true, many of my mates have been buying Xbox 360's recently and after about a couple of months they are already getting melting disks, overheating problems and even the Red Rings of Doom! The 360 is an awesome system as we all know, BUT it's so many problems it has can't be covered up. Anyway 360 at the moment have the most games, and BEST games! But the 360 sucks for reliability.

Superaktieboy is right you know... even the jabs at Microsoft are weak. The purpose of the parodies is to make people laugh and get people talking... in my opinion, not pulling punches will get more people talking. There is PLENTY of content there for jabbing Microsoft about. Ring of Fire was a start, but take another good look at the lyrics and count all the positive things said about the 360 versus the negative things... now do the same on the PS3 and Wii parodies. If you've done this, you probably now know what I think he was getting at.
