View Full Version : Most Glitched Game You've Played ThePianoMan 01-28-2009, 03:26 PM Just wondering what the most glitched game you've ever played is... Mine: Crash Twinsanity (PS2). That was barely I finished game xGBUKx Simple 01-29-2009, 01:28 AM It would have to be one of two games, either: Saints Row or Smackdown vs Raw 08. Saints Row, has so many glitches, thats what made the game fun, although I loved it. Smackdown vs Raw 08, was a massive glitch. There were so many bugs in the game it was stupid. Ventilaator 01-29-2009, 04:08 AM SSX Tricky Still love it though Diortem 01-29-2009, 09:58 AM Biggest glitch: Diablo 1. Sorry, but when the way you change skill levels in a single-player game is to play it multiplayer and change skill there, something is up. Something big! Most glitches: Vampire: The Masquerade Awoll SGF 01-30-2009, 11:50 PM COD: WAW. There are 3 maps in MP that EVERYONE glitches. Cheese 01-31-2009, 06:33 AM @ Awol SGF, I know that two of the maps are Makin and Castle but what's the other one? They're the only two I've ever seen glitchers on. Anyways the biggest glitch that I've ever found was in Simpsons Hit and Run. I did this cheat that allowed my car to jump into the air every time I pressed R3. However every time I hit a house or town border I went straight through it and was stuck in some random place where I was just driving in midair and hitting invisible walls. Lokela 01-31-2009, 08:08 AM I would have to say The Darkness (multiplayer) is the most glitched game I have played. It just wasn't put together well at all. ShuaReborn 01-31-2009, 08:14 AM I gotta agree with Lokela about The Darkness mutiplayer, because man was that bad. As far as worst glitched. The Matrix Online. Awoll SGF 01-31-2009, 11:26 AM @ Awol SGF, I know that two of the maps are Makin and Castle but what's the other one? They're the only two I've ever seen glitchers on. I'm counting Zombies just to add weight to my point. haha Vash Delacroix 01-31-2009, 11:54 AM I'm gonna have to say Stronghold 2 for the PC Egmanila 02-01-2009, 01:40 PM Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga My friends and I used to play it a lot and found tons of glitches, including one where you turn into a car. AcesHigh4895 02-01-2009, 03:19 PM Mass Effect for the PC. I couldn't even get to the Citadel, it was that bad. I heard they're finally releasing a patch after years of being broken, but I don't know if it's even worth it. Jacob816 02-01-2009, 04:03 PM Mercs 2. There are so many bugs and glitches in that that I could barley finish it. Certain missions are still buggy even after patches, and online co-op still won't let me connect to any of my friends. Its a shame though, because when the game actually works its a really good time blowing stuff up. kim andre 02-01-2009, 04:09 PM gta san andres for the ps2 :S damn i start to cry when i think about that game Granite 02-02-2009, 11:26 AM Mass Effect for the PC. I couldn't even get to the Citadel, it was that bad. I heard they're finally releasing a patch after years of being broken, but I don't know if it's even worth it. What, really? I don't remember running in to any. For me, it's probably Vampire: Bloodlines. It's still an excellent game though, and I forgive it for being buggy as a lot of the causes of its problem can be laid firmly at the feet of the publisher and, of all people, Valve. Diortem 02-02-2009, 11:29 AM What, really? I don't remember running in to any. For me, it's probably Vampire: Bloodlines. What are you talking about? The engine was incomplete, but it was Activision that rushed the title. I hold them FIRMLY responsible, since judging by HL2 comming out so soon after, a few weeks would have made ALL the difference. lillieskeeper 02-02-2009, 11:36 AM I'm going to say it's Fable 2, man I don't know if it's just my copy but this game has almost been broken in half by my enraged a many times. I have the most jacked up experience with this game freezing and losing that damn dog. and having someone follow me and then bam there gone. oh how my heart has been broken by this game. I ws so looking foward to it. sadness. Krelith 02-02-2009, 11:50 AM Conflict: Denied Ops. I couldn't bare to finish the 1st level and mailed it back within an hour of getting it through my door Artemas 02-02-2009, 02:58 PM I have not played too many glitchy games but the two most annoying ones were SOCOM1 and R6V1 for close to the same reason. SOCOM 1 I played three different levels and after completing all my objectives the evac vehicle never arrived and I had to re-start the levels. Rainbow 6 Vegas On one level you have to clear an auditorium and then defend it against a small assault force. After some frustrating trail and error I finally beat that part and I decide I was low on ammo so I went back to the nearest ammo box and I got a checkpoint, wtf? The objective reset and I had to clear the whole section again. Granite 02-03-2009, 04:18 AM What are you talking about? The engine was incomplete, but it was Activision that rushed the title. I hold them FIRMLY responsible, since judging by HL2 comming out so soon after, a few weeks would have made ALL the difference. That's why I mentioned the publisher. Activision certainly pushed the game out of the door before it was ready, which was what made it so flawed, but on the other hand if Activision hadn't been rather heavy handed in their demands and deadlines, the game may not have been shipped at all. On the other hand, from the sound of it Valve weren't holding up their end of the deal with the Source engine very well. They didn't finish the AI routines that were expected, so Troika had to write their own from scratch, something they hadn't budgeted for. According to some people, whenever Troika found a bug in Source, Valve went away, fixed it, put the fix in to HL2, tested it themselves, then eventually sent the updated code over to Troika. Valve were essentially using Troika to beta test their code, saving themselves the expense, with Troika paying for the privilege. I'm certainly not defending Activision's actions, but they weren't the only people responsible. To be honest, a lot of the blame is on Troika. While they eventually produced a great game, they seemed to waste a lot of time and effort in the process. Hollowcow 02-03-2009, 09:32 AM Mercs 2 may have been buggy but it cannot hold a candle to Destroy all Human Path of the Furon. I don't even know how to explain the bugs and glitches in that game....so horrible. |
