Same here, and I remember Ubisoft saying that they were going to push it back to create more demand or something.

Makes sense that it'd come out this year, or early next year.

I thought the first one was fun up to a point, but I can see why they would make a second game.

Im excited because the first one was fun but had problems if they fix that in the second and make a better story it could turn out to be a great game.

I hope they make the controls less monotonous. If you held down left trigger, held the left stick forward, and occasionally tapped the x button, you would eventually beat Assassin's Creed.

That would be sweet but it would better to unlock those things throughout the game as the first one was quite repetitive and that would spice things up a bit.

Yeah unlocks, Start with a knife and a c4(to blow a bridge up with a guy on it?) But this is, of course, If its WW2 or after, because WW1 would make no sence and anything befor that wouldnt fit either.

I think it's actually the French Revolution, not Resistance. So, not WWII. Less Hitler, more Marie Antoinette. Hopefully you can get cake!

The first game was *ugh* too sluggish.

Back when everyone was talking about the first game I seemed to remember some people talking about the next one would either be set in Japan/China or set in the games present with the whole assassin abilities. But back then it was all rumor.

Although the Japan/China angle was started with what you saw with the eagle vision around the building. If I remember correctly there was a drawing of an oriental building.

If it is set during the French Revolution I really hope there are no firearms. The first game was easy, and guns would make it even easier.

I like the concept of the game but i couldnt get past the control scheme. Maybe if there is a second one they will improve it.

If they make the sequel play like it's nothing but a big chore, I won't touch it. The first one was the same thing over and over and over and over and over again, only getting more frustrating because the guards noticed you more and more as you progressed.

I think the reason the first game was so repetitive was that it had too much open worldedness, and not enough plot-basedness. The perfect Ass ass in's Creed 2 would be a game similar in most ways, but with a much more linear plot that constantly introduces you to new locations, characters, and events. But most importantly, locations. Also, the free-moving gameplay should be kept pretty much the same. If they get guns in my Ass ass in's Creed, I'm gonna be pissed.
