In EA's latest release schedule The Orange box for the PS3 has been delayed with rumors suggesting possible development problems. The new release date is currently on January 17, 2008

If it is true then I think this is a big shame to be honest as it is one of the best titles this Christmas and once again is another delay for the PS3.

(I was also unaware EA was the publisher as I have seen no reference to the company anywhere)

another month? Bloody hell... Well at least I can get both Uncharted and Rachet and Clank now...

I really hate EA... They are the laziest company when it comes to PS3 games... Now that they are working for MS I doubt any of this will change. They will probably end up making worse games for the PS3 now...

I got it for the PC, so I am plenty happy.

Well duh... PC version is always going to be better... Especially when developers like Valve and Epic allow users to make their own mods of the game with the engines. Though thankfully the PS3 version of UT3 will be able to download the mods.

Oh, and for The orange box. I heard that it's only Delayed in Europe. The USA version is still on for december.

i feel sorry for ps3 gamers i hope they fix this crap before i get mine sometime next year (if i bother getting a job)

yes its a shame i would have purchased it the day it hit the shops but i will have to wait.
I also hope EA do a decent job on it because you can bet even after the delay EA will still make a mess of it.

Well when you have Gabe, publicly saying he "hates" the PS3 architecture and EA, who haven't exactly been even slightly arsed about doing decent conversions for the PS3....it's not a surprise.

Aren't EA just the publishers? Isn't it Valve we should be slamming for the delays in finishing off the game? I hate EA as much as the next guy, sucking the life and soul out of gaming, but we've got to remember that a lot of the time they are just the publisher and not the actual developer.

No, EA are porting the PS3 version, not jsut publishing it...

The only major thing I like about EA is the NHL games..
