I was playing the new expansion for Sins of a Solar Empire, Entrenchment, which I am reviewing. I do own KZ2 though, so you'll see me on this weekend for sure.

PS - KZ2: the first first-person shooter that doesn't make me feel sick. I'm enjoying it alot, especially as it doesn't involve a lap-full of vomit.

Aw come on Pacman, does every rhythm game have to come with a peripheral to be worth a damn? Rock Band Unplugged is called Rock Band for the same reason Guitar Hero World Tour still has the GH name. People know the brand, so more people will buy it.

The only real joke in the new PSP games list is Assassin's Creed. The only thing that game had going for it was the scale, and it sure as hell won't be translated well to the PSP.

I never said anything about rhythm based games needing a peripheral to be good, just that GHU DOES. As the biggest Patapon fan on earth that should have been obvious. You can't compare Parappa or games like that to what I have no doubt GHU will be like. Unless they totally overhaul what happens on screen as you play A HELL OF A LOT from what GH is now, it has nothing in common with games like Parappa except for the fact their both rhythm games.

PMPB, the DS has had its own version of Assasin's Creed for it for some time now...at least a year. You said that it's exclusive to the PSP...and you guys were berating whats-his-name from Sony for announcing old news; you guys are announcing incorrect old news! :lol:

The way I see it, it's just a REALLY late multiplatform release. If it had a different title, say "Assasin's Creed: Legends of the Legendary", it could qualify as its own standalone "exclusive" PSP game.

I can't help it, I get on the defensive when a Nintendo console is brought into question. :thumbsup:

From what I heard the PSP title is supposed to have it's own story and characters. Let's hope it has it's own gameplay too minus the lather, rinse, repeat nature of the first one.

Best hand held rhythm game: Ouendan 1 and 2 for the DS.

It says that the game is actually a spiritual successor to Amplitude, a rhythm game that existed before Guitar Hero and had no peripherals.

Assassin's Creed for the DS is actually called "Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles" so if you guys all want to be right, we'd better be seeing "Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles" coming to the PSP or Pacman's right... whatever is coming out on the PSP will be an exclusive game to the handheld market... booya! :lol:

I'm glad the show's finally up on iTunes... it was unfortunate there was such a delay because Dave busted his butt and actually had the show 99.999% ready to go early and then we had a last minute delay, then libsyn went down... the feedburner feed got hosed, we didn't show up on the GCN Podcast player or iTunes...

I also have to go with Frawlz on the "not knowing about the SG KZ2 night"... although I was out of town away from my PS3 and couldn't have made it anyway. I also don't play multiplayer until I've beaten the campaign (which I did last night... get ready to hear a heated discussion about that on this week's show... probably with a few bleeps thrown in there!)

I'll give multiplayer a shot, but I generally don't dig it that much so don't hate on me if I try it and would rather play something else. :wink2:

Yeah a 45 min show would be awesome. You guys always seem to be in a hurry to finish things so you are done on time. It seems like you could very easily go on for another 15 min. What kind of limitations do you face that keep the show at 30 min?
