ScrewAttack releases a Top 10 every other week on GameTrailers. For this episode (read the thread title), they couldn't even name ten titles, and one of the "games" on the list isn't even a game!

True, but when it works we actually have games to play on it.

And...we don't have to wait months between releases NOR do we have to throw in downloadable arcade-style games to fill a top ten list of exclusives.

Not an Xbot but honestly...Sony dropped the ball and has yet to recover.

They seriously need to get their act together because I seriously want FFXIII and I don't want to buy a PS3 for that, Ratchet, and Resistance.

What's wrong with arcade like games? Last time I checked, those were still fun...

And I do have games to play. 12 right now to be exact, soon to be 13. Granted they aren't all exclusive games, nor games that everyone enjoys, but the PS3 still has a nice selection of games to play...

Better thant the Wii's and worse than the 360's...

But It's still enough for most people... Unhcarted, COD4, Guitair Hero, Rock Band, Assassins Creed, Time Crisis 4, and the long delayed Stranglehold, are all teh good looking November games for the PS3...

I know Uncharted isn't out and probably was far from being released when this top 10 list was being compiled, It is already reviewed by IGN and some other review sites. IGN gave it a 9.1 which is really nice, considering it's a PS3 game ;)

I got my PS3 purely for the exclusives and the Blu-Ray. My 360 still remains my main gaming machine as all cross-platform titles will always be bought on the 360 as most of my friends own that over the PS3.

i cant see why everyone is bashing the ps3 with so much hate, in the 360´s first two years they barley got any good games or exclusives(please try to name atleast 5), while only in the first year of the ps3 we get uncharted, ratchet and clank, Haze, warhawk, resistance, lair(it is awesome) folklore, eye of judgement, heavenly sword and ninja gaiden sigma, i mean how the hell can the 360 compete? and next year we get metal gear solid 4, killzone 2, god of war 3, grand turismo 5,little big planet, while what will the 360 have...? And I have around more than enough games for it to keep me occupied, and I love the PS3's style...

And besides Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Stranglehold Collectors edition (but half the reason I bought it was for hardboiled... The main game is much better than I expected though)...Call Of Duty 4, and soon to be Time Crisis 4, something you can't get on the 360, or even the Wii yet (surprisingly) all my games are exclusives...

Seeing as how I reserve most of my online playing time for PC games (an experience yet to be beat by any console), and how I hate matchmaking (server list FTW, why have to let me down COD4?) Free online play is great...

So no, it wasn't a bad year, it wasn't teh best either...

Though, I would still like a 360 someday too though... I really don't need one, my PS3 has more then enough to occupy me for now, and the near future...

Who knows what the future holds though...

Besides COD4 not having server list, the only PS3 game I've bought so far (I have bought a lot) to let me down is Motorstorm... So boring... Especially with no in house multiplayer...

Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 were ported, but 3 wasn't... MGS4 MAY be downgraded and ported over to the 360, but by the time it is, just like the other two ports... It's not going to matter...

Uncharted and Haze technically didn't make it onto the PS3 until after the first 12 months, Uncharted may be borderline but Haze isn't even out yet. Lair, Folklore and Eye of Judgement didn't get astounding reviews, i still like them by the way, but if you are using your own personal taste for hyping the PS3's first year as a success then let me answer your first question with the following.

XBox 360 exclusive games in the first 12 months, lets see now, PGR3, CoD2 (didn't appear on PS3), Kameo, PDZ, Burnout Revenge, Tombraider Legend, Gears of War, GRAW, Viva Pinata, Dead Rising, Amped 3, Saints Row, DOA4, etc. etc. Many many cross-platform titles released in those 12 months which never made it to the PS3, or when they did they were at least a year later, i'm looking at you Enchanted Arms, Oblivion and Lost Planet. Anyway, i'm sure you get my point.

You say how the hell can the 360 compete? Well i believe the above will help just nicely thankyou.

I see what you're trying to say... But give better examples... Naruto isn't that great, neither Blue Dragon... And Party Animals is questionable at best...

Scene it is an obvious Buzz rip off... However that wouldn't matter if they did something buzz didn't such as online play... But that's not the case...

Ace Combay 6 and Beautiful Katamari are also sequels...

The Getaway, Uncharted, Africa, Eight Days, Warhawk are also PS3 games that are out/coming that are not sequels...

And what's wrong with sequels? Devil May Cry 4 and Burnout Paradise are sequels coming to both consoles? Does it matter? More people get to experience it's greatness... And the games end up better from experience...

Afrika, emophia, Afrika, the K makes it kool. Also the PS3 is doing a lot of things right now, the ad campaigns are better, the price is dropping, developers are getting more used to the code, and MGS4 is awesome.

Yeah but the games listed for the PS3 as exclusives, Folklore, Lair, Judgement were all mediocre, i happened to like them and Blue Dragon but that's not the point. An exclusive on ANY console doesn't automatically make it a killer game.

Here here well said Emophia. These forums haven't been around that long but i have noticed a lot more bickering and "my console is better than yours" going on than the GCN forums. Unfortunately i can't access the GCN forums from work anymore so can't post there now.

People have opinions, that's a fact of life, but do you really think you're going to change someone's opinion by adopting fanboy tactics? If anything, it's liable to have the opposite affect.

On November 17th, 2006 I bought my PS3. On November 17th, 2007 I bought Uncharted (and promptly paid/left before they noticed it wasn't supposed to be for sale yet). If people want to be technical, that's the first day of the next year... :D

Funny side story, my buddy went out last Sunday to pick up his Uncharted (again, before release day) and not only did his Wal-mart have Uncharted, but they had Mass Effect in the case. He told the guy he wanted it, went to the counter to pay and the Wal-mart computer wouldn't let the clerk sell him Mass Effect... denied!

I thought it was funny.


But back on topic, this list was done just to attract attention and fan the flamewars on forums just like this. I mean hell, Superman II the movie was on the list... it's clear they're not taking the thing seriously.
