I’ll start:
I learned why the Moon is sometimes visible during the day.

It's depending on where the moon is, in the current lunar cycle, it may be visible during the day, or the night, or a little of both.

It also has to do with the sun's intensity of light.

hmm my best guess whud be that the light is bouncing up from the earth (ofcorse from the sun first) and in the winter time when everything is white allot of light gets reflected an hit the moon and go back into our eyes so we can see it. or the same thing that happens on night time that the sun lights it up from behind so the light reflects that way and into our eyes. only a guess.

I learned that the economy has gone so far down the drain that the crime rate everywhere is rising. Today a little 3 year old girl was kidnapped out of her home where I live. A few weeks ago, when my brother Chris was at work a hispanic lady had come into the gas station (Chris is a security guard) and was talking about how she owns a cleaning business but how her daughters are terrified to help her out now though, because when the two daughters went into this one apartment room to help clean there was a man that had forced entry and was holding a 8 inch butcher's knife to the old lady that owned the apartments throat. We can expect to see the amount or homeless and the amount of crime to skyrocket during this year :(

Honestly, I havent learned much yet today... it's too early in the morning for most lessons. YESTERDAY, however, I learned how bad DCU credit union REALLY is.

I found out that vegetarians don't eat JELLO!

Apparently gelatin is made from animal bone.

I found out that im going to fail school because all my coursework is months overdue.... Yayyy

I learnt that I have a science exam tomorrow that will decide what grade I'm gonna get and that I should probably be revising instead of being here. I have also learnt that I can't be bothered.

I also learnt that last point, except I already knew that. I kind of learnt it even more. I won't go into detail about anything else as it's just stuff from lessons.

My ICT teacher last year was just like that, he often got the other ICT teacher to teach us what he didnt know, now this year he doesnt teach us at all, we just have the other one... Pretty pathetic for a AS/A level teacher :lol:

To go on that same line, certain dental stitches are "Catgut (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catgut)" which is made of Sheep or goat intestines.

Yeah, some teachers are a joke. We've got this history teacher who's covering for our other history teacher who's on maternity leave, and she is awful. We're meant to be learning GCSE history, and all she does is read bits out of a textbook, except she repeats them but twisting the words a little to make it sound like her own. She then sets us some crap questions to do which don't help us to learn at all. To top it off, she doesn't really know anyone in our class and she prety much ignores us, so we could talk all lesson between ourselves and not learn a thing, and she wouldn't know because she doesn't pay attention. So if we don't know what we're meant to, she doesn't know.

I learned about how to frag through a internet browser via quake live. it was a good lesson

t'was a productive day as I learned many things:

1) This year the rest of the students entering Uni aren't socially backwards and will actually talk/hit on you.

2) Yanks have the $5 dollar footlong promotion for Subway, we have the $7, the weird music ad doesn't even work properly here.

3) Killzone 2 is full of idiots who have no idea what country they live in.

4) Killzone 2 is also filled with a younger demographic, wich has so far provided a boundless, pants-pissingly hilarious form of entertainment.

I learned that apparently, Marshall Fields was a "real asshole". (Chicago History class).

I figured out how to insert audio from one project in Premier Pro by inserting the source file from the first project into the second project. I was so proud of myself!

I learned that a human body supposedly loses 16 grams when they die. Not sure about that, but I still learned it :tongue:

I learnt that leaving clothes you need in the en suite of your parent bathroom where you having to go past them sleeping is not a good thing try to do at 6am when they've been... busy the night before :sad:
