During our podcast recording last night, I mentioned that Lono and I could be a bit competitive about things.* It doesn’t matter what we’re doing, we try and out-do each other.* I mentioned that I thought I could get more Twitter (http://twitter.com/DocAdams) followers than him as my “prediction”, when in reality I’ve only been Twittering (http://twitter.com/DocAdams) for about a week and he’s been going at it hardcore for about a month or two.* I just like to get him riled up… and apparently it worked.

So last night, in true Lono form, he played dirty.* He tweeted for everyone to “unfollow” me (http://twitter.com/DocAdams).* It worked.* I lost about 100 followers (http://twitter.com/DocAdams) which kinda confused me a little bit when I first logged in this morning.

Then I went to check his followers, and saw his call to action.

Well, well, well.* Look who decided to bring a knife to a gunfight.

My first incliniation was to sink to his level…. but I won’t ask anyone to unfollow Lono here… as I know how fragile his giant ego is.

Nope, I don’t need to play dirty (http://twitter.com/DocAdams), or post a bribery article chock full (http://twitter.com/DocAdams) of dozens of links (http://twitter.com/DocAdams) to my Twitter (http://twitter.com/DocAdams) account.

Instead, I’m going to take the high road and simply thank the people that stood firm.

As a token of my appreciation, today I am going to give away a classic black T-shirt from the SG store exclusively to my Twitter (http://twitter.com/DocAdams) friends.* I’m paying for it myself (http://twitter.com/DocAdams)!

Around lunch time today, I will tweet (http://twitter.com/DocAdams) a code, and if you’re the first person to email that code back to me (doc[at]sarcasticgamer.com) then I’ll send you a shirt out of my personal collection.

Ego-be-damned…. I might do this all day, until I can’t afford anymore shirts.
