Been listening to the show for 3 months now, absolutely loved it, checked out the site and saw just how active and fresh the forums were. So here I am.

About me:

Been a hardcore gamer as long as I can remeber, had most consoles over the years (including the Dreamcast which I miss dearly).

One of my favourite pastimes within games is to try my hardest to do the best (and most hilarious) glitches possible, to which, I must add, I have never once failed yet in any game.

Well, since everyone else is saying hello, I might as well jump on the bandwagon.

I actually found the site by seeing the "How you killed your brand" video on youtube and followed the link to the site. I love the podcast, and I'm always looking for forums to fool around on while I'm at work, so here I am.

I'm mostly a PC gamer, but I'm looking to get myself an XBOX 360 as soon as I can afford one. I'm from Pennsylvania, and I've been a gamer for as long as I can remember. I even work in a little lan shop/console gaming/tabletop gaming store in Scranton, PA.

Listener to the podcast for a few weeks now (although I have MUCH enjoyed backtracking through them as well), so I decided to join in.

As I say in my profile, you will know me through my comments for the most part, but to be fair...

Im primarily a PC gamer, and to give you an idea of my tastes, my favorite game is Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth... atmosphere was incredible (cant speak for the xbox version, but the PC one worked damn well for me).

I'm Beezs, The Beezs, SBeezs, and Beezs nuts. I found SG through someone on my xbl friends list, decided to check it out on a long boring night here at work and I thoroughly enjoy this site and the podcast (especially the Wii song).

I've been a gamer all my life, wouldn't necessarily call myself "Hardcore" since there are other thoughts of what hardcore mean. Have owned most of the major and non major gaming systems out there except for the current generation, which I'm not too impressed with asides from my 360 (third one :D)

Anything else... umm... random poo thought of the day, I'm hesitant to call Sarcastic Gamer by their Acronym, since on the other forum I regularly inhabit has one known as Spurious Generalities... and it's full of poo.

Yeah, I have a love of campy stuff, B movies, and general silliness all about, which is why I own Monster Madness and none of my friends do...

And I collect weird stuff I find everywhere, biggest spending binge was buying an entire set of Marvel Legends figures from Wal-Mart so I could build a giant Sentinel.

My gamertag is SBeezs, and I am occupying myself with CoD4 at the moment, so add me if you don't mind playing with somebody who couldn't hit the broadside of the barn in Downpour with an LMG.

Well, here it is: my first post. Just found this site a couple of weeks ago and have been loving it. The podcasts are outstanding. After listening to episode 18, I downloaded all of them and listened to every single one last night. Working the overnight shift, it was great to have Sarcastic Gamer in my ear the whole time.

So about me: I mainly play PC games (the only console I have right now is a Gamecube. That's right a Gamecube. Go ahead and laugh). Right now, COD4 is my main game with a little BF2 thrown in. Oh, and Half-Life 2. Can't forget Half-Life 2. Also a big fan of the Elder Scrolls series and I can't wait for number 5. Morrowind was one of the best games I ever played and Oblivion was top notch as well.

So that's me, I'm just glad to be here, hope I can help the ball club.

Yeah I never posted here, probably never would have if it wasn't resurrected. Anyway I discovered podcasts in the last couple months as something to listen to at work when I forgot my Ipod... it started with the Bungie podcast and, like a good gateway drug, I began to search for other gaming related podcasts...eventually I found the SG podcast and from there was coaxed (over and over again DOC!) to go to the forums and check it out. So I did and now I use the forums instead of podcasts to pass the time at work :P

Hey, I’m Snail (ImpartialSnail), and after stumbling upon the podcast I have now begun the indoctrination process into this community. I am a female gamer, 360 is my console of choice although I also own a Wii, several classic Nintendo systems, and had a PS3 for about two days before I returned it(and no I do not want to get into a pissing contest about which system is better-besides I already know).
I am often called the Token Girl on XBL and the name has sort of stuck. My games of the year in no particular order...BioShock, COD4, Mass Effect, The Orange Box(damn those promises of cake!), Guitar Hero III, Rock Band, and COD4...did I mention COD4? My favorite all time games or games that have deducted significant hours from my sleep time are GOW, Oblivion, COD4, and Mass Effect.
I am sure you may have noticed the absence of Halo3, and no, it was not by mistake.

I enjoy long walks on the beach, sunsets, and puppy dogs...oh my bad wrong forum-

All kidding aside, I'm glad to have found a community where losing sleep and total immersion into the world of games is understood, appreciated, and 100% acceptable!

I'm a University of Toronto Political Science + Computer Science student (sort of doing both while I work things out :P). I unfortunately don't spend all that long playing online, as my residence's connection is absolutely terrible in terms of latency, but when I do it's usually Halo 3, maybe some Call of Duty 4 once I get it.

I haven't even played Halo 3 yet. :O My name mocks Square Enix for their extreme fondness of sequels. I don't even like the new FF games, so I don't worship Final Fantasy or anything. I stopped enjoying Final Fantasy when it took longer than 5 seconds to summon an aeon. My favorite console has to be the Super Nintendo. Microsoft can go to hell where Mario's concerned. I'm currently a student, studying Computer Games Technology at Portsmouth University! Spend most of my time drunk, or playing games, should be revising now, but meh, who cares :P

Had a 360, wasn't my cup of tea, wii's annoy me after 20 minutes unless i can play it using a classic controller or an old gamecube pad. And PS3's were brought down from heaven on a chariot and given as a gift from the gods to us mere mortals...or something like that.

Hi, I have been I long time of the GCN: Video Game Show, and decided to spread my range sight. I have heard Episode 23, and now I am hooked. Well going to listen to the newest show as I fall asleep. Haha, just saw Newman get caught on fire on Seinfeld.

Hmm, seeming a bit random there braxton. Anyways, hi everyone. Call me Pong. It was my nickname in college because they always saw me gaming. Got led here by iTunes after I was on a podcast downloading kick and by far is the best show I'd heard of them all. Got a 360 and Wii, prolly will get a PS3 soon since Blu-ray looks like the winner of the format war. I also play PC games fairly frequently after coming off a 3 year kick leading a guild in WoW.

Got a lovely wife that played WoW with me for a while and can still kick my ass in Tetris. We're expecting an addition to the family this summer and I look forward to turning them into a little gamer.

Hello. All I want to say is that I want the Infinity Ward team to FIX the damned "host download playlist" whatever error when you're trying to build a party. I've missed out on so many games because of this stupid error. What causes this anyway? I even missed an SG gamer night because of this stupid error. Oh well...CoD4 is still the best MP game on the block...even with a maddeningly cryptic error message....

I have that problem too. The best way to have it not happen is to go into your own lobby first, THEN accept the invite.

I have never (unfortunately) playes COD 4. If anyone wants a good game with a huge amount of lagging, try Halo Custom Edition. It's pretty fun.
