Hey all, my name's Grant, I'm 17 and I'm starting my first year at University of Toronto in a week (I'm taking Computer Science). I've got a 360 and a Wii (though the Wii is probably getting sold soon, I just don't have the time or money for both systems anymore). I'm a fan of your songs and videos, and I've listened to a couple of your podcasts, and I must say you have on of the few podcasts that I can actually sit through (ScrewAttack and Diggnation being the others). I'm currently playing BioShock and some Shadowrun (I don't care what you guys say, I love it). In terms of XBL games, I've got Rainbow Six Vegas, Perfect Dark and Call of Duty 3 (though I can't guarantee being good at any of them :P), if anyone wants to play just add me.

I used to play more WOW than was probably healthy, but currently enjoying cutting back with a bit of Bioshock on my 360. Despite Rssbot being able to see the future, i am looking forward to Halo3. (And i'm not forking out $200 for a friggn helmet edition)

I'm also a disgruntled ex EB Manager / staff member, who spent far too long putting up with crappy pay, conditions and corporate BS than i should have. But i love games - so thats probably why i did.

My favourite systems i have owned would be the Snes and Dreamcast, and Jet Set Radio is still my sentimental favourite game.

I have a 360 and a Wii. I havent touched my Wii in months, as i'm not a fan of the controller for some games. Guess this old dog doesn't like new tricks. Looking forward to some Smash Brothers on a Classic Controller, or GC controller though.

I get sick of Sony fans talking about the PS3 having potential based on the huge install base of the PS2. Well i love my PS2. I still play my PS2 (slowly working piecemeal through FFXII), but i have no plans to get a PS3 anytime soon.

I also get irked on local prices for games. In Aus we can pay up to $120 Australian dollars for our 'Next Gen' games. For you US people, based on the current exchange rate, that would be you playing $98.99 US dollars for your 360 or PS3 games. (Based on 1 US Dollar being equal to 82 Australian cents). I read enough to know US people weren't happy at paying $60 for next gen games. Think about us poor bastards. We get our games up to 3-6 months later than the US sometimes, AND we get to pay MORE.

Thats why i import all my PSP and DS games.

Finally, i'm not really sure how i stumbled across the Sarcastic Gamers site, but I'm glad i did.

Hey folks. Let me introduce myself. I have been a long long long time listener of all video game podcasts, especially those of the gamercast network. I am a moderator on the achievementjunkie.com forums, and will be on the Gamer's Garage podcast that is coming out soon.

I just listened to the latest episode of SG, and I loved it. I couldn't believe you guys only had out about 6 episodes. You have obviously done some audio work and editing somewhere else in life.

I love the parodies, and don't take them in a serious manner like I see some folks do.
I respect what you guys are doing, and really like how its different from everything else.

I am a huge supporter/promoter of the Gamercast Network, and will proudly promote you guys everywhere I can. I will for sure use the SG gamerpic.

I think it would be more the publishers setting the prices. We can get budget PC titles as cheap as $10. The budget PS2, and the PS2 and PSP Platinum range, can be as cheap as $20-30.

Hell. Marvel Ultimate Alliance came out on PC for $30, but the 360 version was $120. The mind boggles...

Hello all, my name is Jason but everyone has called me Ady for as long as I can remember in games. I'm 30 yrs old and have been gaming ever since I was a kid. My favorite genre of games would have to be MMO's and I am an old EQ fanatic. I recently put down the PC gaming eccentric collector persona and picked up the 360. Since the first time I played GoW I was hooked and have bought almost all the good games I can get my hands on. Console gaming gives me the freedom to play in short bursts but still have lots of fun vs. playing MMORPGs for hours on end just to get one level. I am usually very opinionated and like to discuss a lot of things on forums. I am the boss at my job so I get to play on the internet as much as I want! lol

Hello. Finally registered after a long time of reading.

The name's Simon and I'm 18 years old. I come from a pretty small town in northern Sweden(no, we don't have any icebears here). Been gaming since I was about one year old when we got us an Atari (can't remember which one though) and I have no intention of stopping.

Consoles currently in my possession are: PS3, Wii, PS2, N64 and a Mega Drive II. I also play a lot of PC games aswell, but my favourite genre must be japanese RPG's. For some reason, I just love them. 2D beat-em-up's come in at a close second though, with the Guilty Gear-series as a favourite.

Well, that's a bit about me, won't bore you to death too much, yet anyways. Looking forward to my stay here on the SG forums, see you around.

Hey, I'm Wizard, or "Wiz". I don't have anything but a PC yet, and I don't really even have that because of gaming-hating parents and bad grades. It's a lethal combination. I've been out of gaming/computer-in-general for about five months now and I'm bored out of my mind, but every now and then I sneak on and post on message boards or play a little Halo:CE.

My parents wouldn't let me get a console even if I had straight A's. Don't get me wrong, I'm a smart kid, but I'm lazy. Yes, I'm that type of person, but now I'm getting all A's, so I'm okay, right? Anyway, only handhelds and PC for me, which especially sucks now that Halo 3 (I know, it's not the best FPS out there, but all my friends play it and it's an alright game) is out, I don't have a 360, and they haven't even written a single line of code of Halo 3 for the computer.

The one thing my parents let me do is music, for which I use iTunes. So, I was looking around for some good podcasts when I found SG, which is, needless to say, a fairly awesome podcast.

So, I joined the SG Forums today. I've been a member of the SNAFU Comics Forums (http://www.snafu-comics.com/), if anyone has ever heard of that or lurked/posted there, for three years.

Hi, I am Tina. I am Alex "SupaSlicks" girlfriend and a gamer girl. Been into gaming for oh... forever. Mostly a PC gamer since I favor the Sims 2, but I play the 360 (when it is working) and the PSP (I kicks Alex's ass at Lumines).

Garwalker here. I'm been posting at Uncle Gamer for awhile and heard of SG when they came on Gamercast Network.

I'm from Arlington, Texas. Married. Have a 7 year old daughter and 19 month old monster baby boy. (Feel like I'm on a game show) As you might tell from my avatar, I'm kind of a Star Wars geek but I don't dress up in a costume if I go to a movie or convention.

I currently own a Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, and sometimes borrow the daughter's DS. I've been playing video games since Pong in the 70's. I used to be a big PC gamer, but like many I got married and had kids and now can't afford to keep up with the PC upgrades.

I also get irked on local prices for games. In Aus we can pay up to $120 Australian dollars for our 'Next Gen' games. For you US people, based on the current exchange rate, that would be you playing $98.99 US dollars for your 360 or PS3 games. (Based on 1 US Dollar being equal to 82 Australian cents). I read enough to know US people weren't happy at paying $60 for next gen games. Think about us poor bastards. We get our games up to 3-6 months later than the US sometimes, AND we get to pay MORE.

Also, half the time we get screwed in gaming, eg. our PS3 has a tiny hard drive, or games just aren't released here!:mad:

Ive been a fan of the website and podcasts for months now, and only just registered today.

At the current time im working in a local retail store called GAME
But i want to learn courses on software programming, or more specifically Games. Which hopefully if nothing goes wrong i will do that next year.

Actually it can happen. My best shot is creating a game while I'm in school, and then marketing it to a big company.

Last year the graduating class from my school aparently pitched a game and got it bought by EA, not sure how good that is seeming as they're going buy happy right now.

But, hopefully I'll be getting an internship within 6 months, that's where the foot in the door really happens.

Just thought I would get a post in to introduce myself as hopefully I will be spending alot of time around here. I have been a avid listener of the podcast since episode 4, SG to a awesome job of putting together a podcast that is both interesting/informative aswel as being a blast to listen to :D

I'm usually quite active on most forums, I don't really know why I didn't sign up here earlier. I guess part of the problem is that I am a reasonably avid player of WoW and thus was scared of having my limbs torn off and left in a slowly filling puddle to await my deserved fate upon mixing with "real gamers" :D.

I own a PC and would love to get my hands on a 360 but first I must save as I'm one of those people who wants to do i right or not at all, so Im saving up for a 42" plasma and a 360, although this is proving challenging at best and outright stupid at worst, being a student and all. Although these new Australasian gaming night have resparcked my desire to save again as I live downunder in NZ. I am impeeded however by the fact that I am a complete spastic with a Xbox control and my general strategy in Halo is to push the joysticks in as many different directions as possible whilst holding the fire trigger in the hopes that the spray of bullets in all directions will cause something to die :P.

Well there you have it, thats me and I look forward to meeting many new people and having some good convos to pass these work days...I also realise that this post is probably too long for anyone to bother reading, in fact it's too long for me to type, I don't know why im still going.

I personally don't own an Ipod, but I listen to them on my Zune. A lot of the discussions are cool, and in the last episode you said your Video Card instead of Memory Card when you were talking about the new 360 bundle, lol. Anyways, yeah. SupaSlick is pretty awesome, and it was funny when you made him have to have people message him to get to bed. xD. Also, Mr. Thompson and Halo Jesus are pretty funny. I love the parodies and I think they are hilarious. Keep on doing what you do.
