I was getting bored with all the different Lonos on Twitter until BizarroLono showed up. That guy was kind of different with his ways. TheREALREALREALLonos are just stupid in my opinion.

I liked the Wanted demo. The levels were narrow and there were too many bad guys, but it was still good mindless fun. I found bullet curving to be very useful, although I expected it to be a stupid gimmick in the game. Quickly moving from cover to cover worked great. Also moving from cover to cover in slow-motion is just plain awesome. I'll probably buy it used from a internet auction site of sorts when it's cheaper.

When I get a PS3, I wasn't planning on picking up RE5. If I did, I wouldn't want to play multiplayer anyway. That DLC doesn't really matter to me...

Regarding the PS3 news about the child pornography, I know you weren't blaming the PS3 but to further put that discussion to bed you can enable Parental Controls on the PS3 to restrict a lot of what that users can do, including even playing games online. It also has a password for the internet browser, for that to happen you actually have to.... parent.

I completely agree with Lono on the issue of if you're going to make a game make it complete with one set price. $60 for a game is MORE then enough but if those greedy leech's feel like they deserve more and refuse to release a complete game to market then they should just add the extra $5 to the retail price. Which makes me extremely annoyed. What happened to games being $50? I'm fine with paying $60 for a game but in reality with all this DLC I'm paying a TON more and It's f'ing ridiculous. Not only that but although to most of us it's kind of a foreign notion, their are still people out there who do not have internet connections for their 360's or PS3's which just screws them completely. Look do I think that RE5 has enough content to warrant the $60 price tag right now? Yes, I truly do and it was worth every penny but this is what developers get paid for and they need to stop thinking they deserve more money for what other full fledged games are putting in for free.

On a side note but not really... I'm still trying to figure out who in the hell would want to play team deathmatch in Resident Evil 5 :lol:

I have to disagree with at least part of what Lono said. People who say, "if you don't like it don't buy it" are not part of the problem. In fact, they have the solution nailed. B**ching and moaning about it on a podcast isn't likely to have much effect by itself, but thousands of people voting with their wallet will. Now if the former leads to the latter, then you've done a good thing, but the complaining alone isn't going to get 'er done. The right message to send really is, "If you don't like it, don't buy it." Too many people complain and then buy it anyway. "Well, I won't be able to play with my friends if I don't." No, just make sure none of your friends buy it either. Problem solved.

Both of what Lono and SpiralGray said are true in their own right. But i think to stop these ridiculous DLC issues, its going to need a combination of the two. Most money grabbing game companies will notice the lack of people emptying their wallets for the DLC first, grabbing their attention, and then we can argue more about the general priced DLC =p

I'll still somewhat surprised at people who are hating on anyone who plans to purchase the Resi evil 5 DLC. As I've said time and time again, vote with your dollar and quit bitching about DLC and jumping on the backs of those that will actually purchase it. There is no problem being purpetrated by anyone who buys DLC, if enough people don't buy it, CAPCOM will get the message as will any other game developer.
