So I'm sure you're all aware that the Wii has its problems - lack of true multiplayer, games orientated at the 'younger' market, lack of choice, overpriced classic arcade games - but it's fair to say the wii can be a hell of a lot of fun!
Thing is, in the UK (not sure about US) we have a massive shortage of Wii's. So much so, it made the news today because Nintendo can't keep up with demand.

So I've taken the plunge and sold my Wii. On Ebay. And made £120 profit (whats that like $200?). I'm now a true XBOX360 convert and I've not looked back.

I'm not saying its for everyone, you could happily own both or all next-gen consoles, and i'm sure there's a lot of people out there who adore their Wii's but say you had to choose just one - aren't you even a little tempted to sell up and move over....?

Ah god damn it... I just sold my Wii like a week ago. If I had waited I might've gotten more cash for it.
I'm also heading to the store to buy my 360 tomorrow.

The stock situation is crazy in the uk i checked ebay and there are currently 3997 wii consoles for sale on ebay but not 1 in a normal retail store.
Yesterday i watched a wii+mario galaxy sell for £290 thats more than a 40gb ps3 and nearly as much as a 360 elite its just insane.

I want to say it's more because I havent' had all that much time, but the games haven't really interested me much lately. I dunno...something to consider the closer we get to christmas :)

hmmm thats an option...i could sell my wii (lucky me i still have all the boxing so it might sell for more) but i got it as a gift...idk if i want to sell it...it might be considered rude. oh well its an option i might think about.

Sure you might not regret it, but do you play it? Like a lot? Would you not rather throw it out for some poor sap willing to pay more than £300 for it? If anything - the want for a wii (insert tired and dead joke here) continues to grow, especially with Mario Galaxy out.

Ive always been a big PC guy, and Wii + PC covered everything i needed. Going to pick up a 360 or ps3 after the holidays i think. But if a bunch of people are over, everyone loves to play wii sports. Even people that have never even thought of playing a vid game, will join in and be like "damn this is actually fun"

Hey guys...just to give an update. I just finished selling mine on Sunday. Made a $115.00 profit on it. I can finish my christmas shopping and contribute to my PS3 fund. If anyone one is seriously considering it, I would definately put it up soon.

All we can do is actually wait (and pray) that this console will get better. I'm not totally happy with it but it is eventually getting better(I think). I'm not thinking selling mine anytime soon.

It might come out, Harmonix has no plans at this time, however.
