Ok so today i got my self a copy of far cry 2 on sale on steam. When i launch the game it gives me a multiplayer cd key that it told me to copy down and so i did. Then it brings me to the activation part. It says to enter the SERIAL code. So i am guessing that is cd key it gave me but it will not work. I have tried playing with it by using caps and no caps, using the dashes and not using them, and changing 0's for O. Nothing is working. Does anyone know what i am doing wrong or have any ideas what to do? It would be highly appreciated.

i think you go to "activate a game on steam" at the bottom then put your key in there.

Sorry but that has to do with activating it on steam. My problem lies in trying to activate it on the Ubistoft servers i believe. Thanks for trying though.
