Since the start of the new NXE I've been having severe problems with my 360.
It started with random freezing, that looked like this:

Now after that for some reason my Xbox decided it wanted to jump the RRoD upon me. A little bit dismayed, I accidentally left the console on for an hour. Switching it back on, the console worked, and I went down to the local petrol station to get some compressed air to blow the vents out... a month later, freezing was periodic, and random...now it's striking again, and I'm having to make the console RRoD to "fix it". "towel trick".

So I was considering about calling up Microsoft and taking it to them... 3 year warranty etc... but the problem with this is, that my 3 red lights is temporary, and switching the console back on will only return a few minutes of play time, before it freezes, again, again and rrod.

Any ideas?

Mine did the same thing. Call them and tell them that its the RRoD. and right before if was freezing with a bunch of blocks all over.

Your covered if it showed RRoD atleast once. This creates a log file on the console, and you won't have to pay if its less then 3 years old.....

FOrce it to RRod with a towel or something to get your free repairs

With a twist? I was hoping they offered you a free copy of Killzone or something.

Yeah I'm pretty sure Droozy is right, my 360 just started working again before I sent it away; but Microsoft did a full repair.

And by full repair I mean it lasted a full 6 months before another RROD.

I figured it out!

Based on the screen shot, you really suck at Call of Duty. Your Xbox is trying to ENCOURAGE you by offering up constructive criticism in the shape of Red Rings of Death.

Get that Kill Ratio up and it'll be nice

One of two things. Either:
A) You really don't want to give it up and think you can fix it and call microsoft.
--OR--
B) You can take a few weeks (assuming you're under your 3-year warranty) and call up microsoft and send in your xbox and get a either a fixed one or a fresh new one.
