Lesley, One thing you need to get used to as you become more of a gamer is that you have to stand up for the games you believe in, don't let anyone tell you what you should think about a game - especially Peggle (coz it's great! :w00t:) I've been taking crap for playing it, but I don't care coz it's fun and all I have time for at the moment. A word of warning, some of those challenge levels are tricky. :undecided:

And I have to say how wrong I think you are for laughing off the idea of Animal Crossing pedophiles and then one sentence later talk about touching Mr Potato Head - Ladies! Control yourselves! :tongue:

And by Tricky, MightyMutt means that some of the Challenge levels are downright infuriating! I have never before in my life sworn so profusely at a bunch of cartoon animals.

No problem. A third-person shooter is where your view of the game is from behind the character your playing, Gears of War is a prime example. First person is from the actual character you play, much like all of the other shooters like Call of Duty, Halo, etc. I hope that helps. :thumbsup:

... I'm sorry bro! Yahoo is decent. Google mail is free, the issue is you wouldn't be able to forward your yahoo account to it w/o paying yahoo (if I remember right). AOL is...well, that's just a travesty. I remember using AOL back when it was version 1.5 and 2.0, around 1995. I know it's improved since then, they've just always seemed to have the "gouge the customer every which way possible" attitude.

Great show... I especially enjoyed the bit about board games converted into video games. As someone who loves board games, but was destined to be an only child, these things are GREAT! I spent many hours playing SNES Monopoly because no one I knew would play the real game against me. It was quite a good way to get a fix.

One of my best friends is a nice girl living several states away. I never get to see her anymore, and I'd love to be able to play board games with her. Has anyone tried a game like this for the Wii? Is the online play worthwhile? Yes, I know what you're thinking, but getting her to buy a 360 will not be easy.

Just recently started listening to the podcast, and think you're all doing a good job.

Gotta give Lesley props for being a good sport and trying an FPS (lord knows I suck at them and have been gaming a long, long time). And has been stated earlier in this thread, if you like something, you're entitled to your opinion.

Lastly, good to hear someone on the podcast appreciates beer too - I'll raise a glass of Brooklyn's Local Two next I listen to the show.
