Some days my Wii is connected, sometimes it isn't.
And I use wireless by the way.

It might be your firewall not allowing the Wii wi-fi connection to work. Check also your anti-virus. I managed to link it up no problem using Wi-Fi which is now practically useless since "someone" I woun't use name gave up on his wireless router and gave it to me.
Which turns out now that I wasted about 30 bucks for the Wii Wi-Fi connector only to get wireless. Although it is better considering the wii can stick to online 24/7 without having my PC turned on like I have to with the Wi-Fi, and doesn't overheat after its only been turned on for 10 minutes.
I do admit though, I feel like the Wi-Fi seems to have gotten a stronger signal with faster download speeds.

I have been trying to see if it has anything to do with wep, but im not seeing anything.
I know if i disable all security on the router it connects, but who wants to be doing that?
Thinking about trying to get some port forwarding done, but need to find out which ports it likes.

All of my devices work: laptop, wii, ds, and 360. My advice: get a new router.

Just give your little wii a tug and it should wake up for ya. If not, then see a doctor.
