i thought with the atmosphere tense in certain areas of the forum i thought i lighten it up a bit with a sligjtly fun thread to here goes.

Whos you personal hero can be connected to games or could be somone like muhammed ali just your personal hero and why.

Personaly i would have to go for Ric Flair for those who dont know hes a retired profesional wrestler who was the best of the best i know hes not a martin luther king or einstein or somone like that but over 30 years in a dangerous buisness and 16 times a world champion i only hope to be that sucsessfull

so im looking forward to your guys opinion

How REVOLTING!

But to answer, I have a few I could pic (fictional and real).

But seeing as this is a gaming site....

Forte (Bass): I know he is a villain, but I dont care. He had the will to break his programming and become his real self. I admire that kind of strength deeply.

Doc is my personal hero. He took his passion for games and with the help of others that supported him raised it to the point where it is now! Great job, Doc!

Orson Scott Card: his books made me the arrogant little child I am now...I am now also constantly paranoid of people praising me...you'd have to have read the books to understand why.

I have a pet dog his name is patsy. he is the single greatest being on this planet. And he can frickin shoot lazer beams from his head. But on a more serious note I have been trying to think of someone but I really don't idolize anybody. Sure there are people who are awesome but none that I consider a hero. So even though I avoided the question thats all I got.

Not to be a complete copy cat but anyone who can make something great appear from nothing especially in a time where there are so many great things has to have one hell of an imagination ( or a good deal of black mailing.)

Honestly, Orson Welles, because his visions on cinema made me wake up and pursue movie making. Even tho some people hate Citizen Kane, it is the first movie i watched on a dvd from beginning to end, with full on extras and everything. I had to get the special editions and everything. Even tho the aftermath of Welles was quite tragical, and sad, his creativity broke the walls of the mediums he worked on.

Jesus, He was such a great author... Have you ever read the bible? I mean, That shits fantastic...
I don't really have a "hero", Although i do admire the work of people like Hendrix, Matt Groening(Spelling) and the guy who invented the toasted sandwich maker...

In games: Tony Vercetti, what a cool badass. And funny as hell.
In real life: My mum & dad for being such good parents.
And my girlfriend, certainly after seeing her give birth to our son. *bows down*

Orson Scott Card. He's a great author, a profound thinker, and I'd say a philosopher as well. I really enjoyed his books, and I've based my psyche off of the characters in his books.
